B.C. Rich

Description

Who else but B.C. Rich would you expect to offer neck-through guitars? Now B.C. Rich will take their neck through designs to a whole new level. Introducing the NT Series Guitars and Basses. Many of these models have never been offered as import neck-through. Now players who want the added sustain and solid feel of a neck-through, in an affordable package, can pickup an NT (neck-through) Series by B.C. Rich.

Neck-Through Construction
B.C. Rich is known as one of the pioneers in neck-through construction. They use it on many of their guitars, because it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. Neck-through has long been considered the premium construction method for high-end guitars. This construction starts with a long piece (or pieces) of premium North American maple. That piece runs from the tip of the headstock to the strap button on the opposite end of the guitar. This means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single sound foundation. Sonically it is a difference you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows more of the body and neck to be cut away at the neck joint, which provides comfort no bolt-on or set-neck could offer. You will find the neck through feature on all top of the line B.C. Rich models.

I bought this as an investment, because I got an amazing deal on it. I was going to re-sell it for a comfortable profit, but after really checking it out and playing it, I was blown away. I'm an old guy, and B.C.Riches aren't my normal style, even when I was young, but this thing has it all. Can you see a 65-year old with a blood red Warlock? Me, neither! But the neck-through solidity and the coil-tap variety makes the seeming absurdity well worth it. I'm keeping it, even if it looks weird in church, because if you judge by the sound and ease of play (a tad bit of set-up was all that was needed), it's a definite keeper. A Warlock redeemed!

the guitar is self is very sleek, fast, and deadly. i bought it about it year ago and its a great guitar but theres a problem with it. the neck is too top heavy and the body is waaay to light making it unbalanced in order for it to be playable standing up i had to reposition the strap bolt to the middle of the guitar when the neck joint is. with it there it plays alot more conferrable
