Comments about Audio-Technica LP60 Stereo Record Player:

For the July 4th sale price on this item, it's amazing. This is a very base model which is all I needed; however, it is fully automatic for 45's and 33's. You just set the record size and the speed and needle placement is all automatic. It does not have an arm lock, which would be nice, and it does not have a manual finger arm lift, but since it's all automatic you really don't need it unless you have an odd size record. The quality and sound is amazing, and like I said, it's really all I needed. I really like it.

Comments about Audio-Technica LP60 Stereo Record Player:

Great quality, sounds good; does NOT hook up to the computer though, so if you don't have a receiver amplifier it's not for you. Plays well through my JVC setup.

Comments about Audio-Technica LP60 Stereo Record Player:

I bought this at Guitar Center as a pre-Christmas sale item. I have a lot of LPs from my younger years, 60's and 70s, some of which are not on CDs and I wanted to have the option of playing them. I was able to hook the turntable up to my Bose radio/CD player with its superior speaker system. However, I was disappointed in that the sound of the "turntable with vinyl" was not better than my CDs. When I compared them, the CDs were louder and had more brilliance. Perhaps, if I hooked up the turntable to a different speaker system, the result might have been different. All of the talk about vinyl being "superior" to digital might be simply hype and nostalgia. I will have to explore this further and see whether a different configuration and setup might yield different results.

LP60 has potential. BUT, NO TRACKING WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT!

Comments about Audio-Technica LP60 Stereo Record Player:

The LP60 has potential. BUT, a HUGE FLAW IS NO TRACKING WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT!!! Out of the box, the turntable is NOT usable. Tracking is too light; you just look at the turntable, and it skips. I've contacted Audio Technica; it's a KNOWN PROBLEM which they solve by sending a weight for the tracking arm head. Turntable is unusable since arrival, and we will see if the tracking weight will solve the problem. I hope so.

Comments about Audio-Technica LP60 Stereo Record Player:

Plays 33 LPs with ease and clarity. Fantastic. And easy hook up directly to a soundbar, no additional pre amp required if you flip the switch on the back of the turntable.

the best snare in my collection

        By hammer_time

        from Denver, CO

Comments about Audio-Technica LP60 Stereo Record Player:

I have over 30 snare drums that I've collected over the years and the Mapex Sledgehammer Brass is the best sounding and most versatile snare out of them all. This includes a vintage Gretsch snare, a 1970's Ludwig Black Beauty, and a DW nickle over brass. Performance and versatility are the hallmarks of Mapex and I own two other Mapex snares as well. How do they do it? I think they must have a lot of drummers in their product development team. If you were abandoned on a desert island with only one snare drum, you would want it to be this drum.
