I have used many different black lights and this one is fantastic! The only thing I don't like is the lights gets very hot during use. Keep in mind this light has a narrow throw, so it needs to be mounted away from your target.

This ray of light is awsome. It changes the playing Atmosphere completely. You can shut down all other lights and still have floor at awe. Two words "Game Changing"

Based on the reviews I thought the UV beam would be more intense than it is. Having said that, the other UV lights had disappointing reviews because of the lack of power. This unit's 400 watts of power is the reason for my purchase and thought it would blast the dance floor with awesome color. It does add an interesting dimension to the lighting by illuminating light colored clothing and objects but the size of this light, I guess I was expecting more. I've only used the light in one venue so far. I still like the light but it's a lot to lug around for the subtle effects that it creates.

got this for a school play. had to return and got the Chavant LED one for $100 more, We'll worth it the led turns on full power with the flip of a switch, and would be able to dim if I had the right equipment.
