This is a very nice guitar!

I bought this Alvarez a few months ago and it is much nicer than I expected. Firstly it is really nice looking with its Rosewood back and sides. It also is very comfortable to play with its beveled upper bout. More importantly it sounds very good and has an easy action across the fingerboard. This is just a fine instrument that I highly recommend. Around the same time I tried a Martin for a few days and I found it to be sort of "meh". But the Alvarez is a very fine guitar.

This has become my gigging guitar. I have Taylor210CE, Martin 0015 and I think this one plays more comfortably and sounds much better plugged in with the LR Baggs system. The built in tuner is rock solid in live situations as well compared to others I've tried in the past.
Better than Taylor

I played this guitar in shop, and WOW. I'm no expert, I've only played a handful of guitars but I spent a few hours in the shop and played a few 1000+ high end guitars Taylors, Gibsons, and a few lower end affordable 300-500 dollar guitars. This was the easiest playing best sounding guitars I've played yet. Alvarez ages the wood from factory and so you get a guitar that has an insane amount of sustain for being "brand-new". The low end bass rattles your body and the high end is so well balanced that i almost don't want to look at any other brand or guitars. I'm sold, Alvarez is soon to be a staple in the guitar world. Excellent customer service by the way! Thank you guitar center, I know what I want now!
