Professional Mixing Features
The Alto Professional Live 1202 is a pro 12-channel, 2-bus mixer equipped with the tools you need to create the perfect mix. With flexible routing options and a multitude of onboard DSP tools, Live 1202 fits the demands of many live performance environments. It features 7 balanced XLR inputs with switchable phantom power, 3-band EQs for additional tonal shaping, two aux sends per-channel for external effects and monitoring, and a 9-band graphic EQ for main or monitor outputs. A headphone jack with an independent level control enables additional monitoring and mixing. 60mm faders with LED meters provide precise control and visual feedback for accurate, hands-on mixing. With its diverse connectivity options, Live 1202 can handle any sized event from small coffee house gigs to mid-sized ensembles to full-stage rock bands.

Analog Compression & Superior Sound Quality
Live 1202 offers high-fidelity sound and high-quality DSP tools in a single package. Each microphone channel is outfitted with a high-headroom ultra-low-noise DNA microphone preamp for unprecedented sound quality and a robust audio signal path. Live 1202's high headroom results in cleaner mixes, a purer signal path, and loud, punchy audio. Onboard analog compression (channels 1-4) helps control dynamics and gel instruments together for a cohesive, defined mix. With high headroom, pristine sound, and built-in dynamic control, Live 1202 ensures that the full dynamic range of your mix comes across with striking clarity.

USB Audio Interface
Record your mix directly to a Mac or PC with a single USB connection. Live 1202's built-in USB port allows engineers, producers, and performers to convert two channels of 24-bit audio (Main Mix or Sub Mix 1/2) straight to a computer. Record live performances, band practices, theater performances, speaking events, and any other live sound event onto your computer for additional editing, mixing, and post-production. The USB connection is bi-directional, enabling sound files stored on your computer to be streamed to and played through Live 1202.

100 High-Quality Alesis DSP Effects
Live 1202 comes ready to handle any mixing situation with premium 24-bit Alesis effects built right into its design. Select from 100 DSP effects that give you additional creative control in any mixing environment. Choose from room and space delays, small and large hall acoustics, plate and spring reverbs, flangers, choruses, and more. The effects presets make it easy to dial in your favorite sound or experiment with different effect settings on the fly.

Color-coded Interface
Often, live sound environments are dimly lit and offer poor visibility to the mixing engineer. Live 1202 solves this problem by color coding each section of the mixer and providing brightly colored knobs so you can quickly and easily find what you need to adjust. Blue, green, red, yellow and white pots are instantly easy to identify in low lighting. LED indicators for output level, peak, and phantom power also assist in making sure that you have multiple visual cues that reflect everything you're hearing.

Comments about Alto LIVE 1202 12-Channel 2-Bus Mixer:

Just bought the Alto Live 1202 which just replaced my Allen Heath ZED 12fx and Allen Heath Mix Wiz 16. I tested out the QSC QU16 Digital, Mackie Digital 16, Live Digital 16, Allen Heath Digital 16 and those boards are too expensive and not ready for prime time if you look at the reviews and blogs which show they have problems with hardware and software. I decided to go for the Alto Live 1202 to avoid issues even though the Alto does not have all the features like memory and other full encompassing effects built in. I had a huge rig with lexicon, dbx pa plus etc. and I still like compact do it all in one however the price point including digital alesis effects sold me on this one. I like simple, no issues and up to date technology which the Alto is. The only choice you have right now for a mixer with effects under $500 is 6 years old technology from Mackie and Allen Heath which are being sold presently now. The quality, quietness, headroom and build is better than my ZED or Mix Wiz and others too. You cannot go wrong with the Alto Live 802, 1202 or 1604 for up to date mixers. When the price point and issues of the digital compact mixers gets worked out I will set my sites on the Sound Craft Performer which is the best digital 16 channel on the market but at a price. Take it from a Pro of 30 years and Buy the Alto Mixer you will be very happy in your investment. Anthony Dannunzio Entertainer Extraordinaire.

Comments about Alto LIVE 1202 12-Channel 2-Bus Mixer:

It was not even practical to begin to try to mix with this. There is too much inherent noise output, even before amplification. I tried both the xlr outputs and the TS outputs. There was far too much noise, even before raising the mains.

Comments about Alto LIVE 1202 12-Channel 2-Bus Mixer:

I initially went into GC to purchase this mixer (alto live 1202) after reading the reviews and watching some videos on it but was talked into buying the Mackie ProFX8v2 by two different staff members at GC...Needless to say I returned the mackie ProFX9v2 after one day of use (the sound and vocals came through muddy) and purchased the alto live 1202...I'm into Karaoke along with a little DJ-ing and in my opinion the Alto live 1202 combined with the alto truesonic TS210,TS212 or TS215 series speakers is simply UNBEATABLE for the price...I like a nice clean sound and the Alto live 1202 gives me that...My vocals came through clear and the FXs are amazing...So if you are into a clean, clear, crisp sound don't hesitate to'll be sorry if you didn't
