Release Date:10/02/2012;Notes:Vinyl LP pressing. 2012 collection from the Japanese Experimental outfit. Mi-Gu is Yuko Araki (drums/vocals) with Hirotaka "Shimmy" Shimizu (guitar/producer). Araki and Shimizu are also members of Cornelius' backing group, Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band, If By Yes, and Brother's Sister's Daughter (with Mike Watt). Araki formed Mi-Gu in 2003, releasing the first album on British label Ochre Records three years later, the second album was released by Atsugua Records in Japan in 2006 and in 2009, Ryuichi Sakamoto's label, Commons released the third album. Choose the Light collects tracks from the three import albums, selected by Chimera Music, re-mastered by Mi-Gu and available on vinyl for the first time.
