These Hybrid Studio drum sticks from Ahead feature a balance of a 5A medium taper and beefy 5B shaft for maximum versatility. The alloy core produces 50% less shock than wooden sticks and easily outlasts conventional models. The handles are protected by hard polyurethane covers. This is a pair.

    This is great for people who like the grip of 5B and light weight and response of a 5A. I also used Ahead grip tape which was the best decision I ever made.
