Description
The Aguilar SL 112 bass speaker cabinet represents an entirely new path to world-class tone in an ultra-light package. Weighing only 25 lb. the SL 112 boasts a 12" cast-frame neodymium woofer, giving it powerful projection yet maintaining portability of the highest order. A phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug adds clarity, attack, and upper harmonics to your tone. The SL 112 delivers Aguilar's signature sound in a cabinet light enough to carry with one hand.
Neodymium Woofer Provides Thunderous Low End
At the heart of the SL 112's staggering performance is a 12" neodymium woofer, renowned for its ability to move serious air while keeping weight to a minimum. This woofer pumps out tight, musical bass with depth and clarity that must be heard to be believed from a cabinet this compact. The SL 112 is built to handle the demands of the most aggressive playing styles with ease.
Phenolic Tweeter Adds Shimmering Highs
The SL 112's phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug and custom crossover with tweeter-level control ensure your mids and highs fit perfectly into any mix. The result is a balanced and nuanced sound across the frequency spectrum.
Road-Ready Durability in an Ultra-Light Enclosure
Weighing just 25 lb. the SL 112 is almost unbelievably light for a professional bass cabinet, yet it is built to handle life on the road. Its all-wood 12mm enclosure is able to withstand the rigors of transport and performance. Sturdy rubber feet prevent slippage, and a deluxe strap handle make loading, unloading and positioning the cabinet a breeze. The SL 112 projects enough volume for rehearsals and club gigs.

I use this in my home practicing and in smaller venues. Easily play with drums, 2 guitars and keyes with no issue. Super light too, so no back issues. WIth one or even two of these, my Tonehammer 500 and I couple basses, I fit everything in the truck of my car, and walk into the gig fully loaded iin 1 trip.

Awesome bass cabinet for upright and bass guitar. Sounds great in all styles of music. On top of that it's light weight and easy to tote.

I was a little leery about these cabs because they were so light. They sound great. They are loud, and in fact most gigs require only one sl112. I got a pair to use for larger gigs. So far I'm not disappointed.
A great cabinet!

I have bought one of these cabinets last year to use with my Tonehammer. I wanted more power, so I decided to buy a second cabinet and have to say that it really rocks. The fact that it's light makes it easy on the back. It has a real nice tone, very full and fat.
Best portable bass cab in the market.

As a jazz/fusion/R&B bassist, I use two of these paired with an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 and I have no reservations saying that it is the best portable rig I have ever used. I have tried plenty of other brands, with Markbass coming in a very close 2nd place in terms of a solid portable rig (My Little Mark III with a 2x10 and 1x12 traveler sounds awesome). I've had GK, Fender, Ampeg, Genz Benz, and Carvin amps in the past and none of them compare to this amp's versatility or quality of tone. Two of these cabs at 500W satisfies all of my gigging needs, but I would ideally use an Aguilar DB head with a 212 and a 410. Until I have roadies, I'll be using my SL112s. The only way I'll ever sell these is if Aguilar comes out with a portable 2x8 or 2x10, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Bottom line: BUY THIS CAB! (or two of them if you can afford it)
Best 12 out there hands down

Love this cab. It is not only light, but looks and sounds killer. Seems expensive at first...you'll be in love with the first one...but swallow hard cause you'll want 2 as soon as you have one. I paired 2 of these babies with the Tone Hammer 500...Golden Round Love!!! These cabs have amazing frequency response. Small footprint, with lots of boom. 2 together, and you won't believe the sound you get for the size. I have used them in studio and stage for a year, hard. Cant say enough good...
