Description

The Acoustic B300C Bass Combo delivers 300 watts of clean Class-D amplification through a single 15" ferrite speaker, giving advancing and pro players all the power and bottom-end tone they need. Like all Acoustic Classic Series models, the B300C offers a versatile cabinet that can be used in a traditional vertical configuration or tilted back, allowing precise personal monitoring at rehearsals and performances. And for sound-sculpting control, the B300C features a 5-band EQ, a convenient Shape Switch with a variable Notch Filter to dial in those important mid-tones, and a Blendable Overdrive circuit, giving the player a wide variety of expressive tonal options. Super-Hi and Super-Low EQ Boost switches and the exclusive Acousti-Comp switchable compression offer even more overall sound control. Plus, a full-featured, pre- or post-EQ XLR Direct Out with level control and a ground-lift circuit provides pristine connectivity to front-of-house systems free from annoying and damaging interference. The 1/8” headphone out is ideal for private practice, and its 1/8” AUX In connects external music devices for convenient play-along and practice.

    No complaints at all. It does what I wanted it to do and it does it well. Replaced my Fender Rumble100 with this big guy and I don't regret it at all. I'd recommend this amp to anyone.

    Bought for studio so there was a decent bass amp here. The DI has a volume and pre-post EQ for recording. There's plenty of control on the front for getting a good sound. I like the super low setting added to the 5 band EQ, and the notch filter is handy for cleaning up boominess. Gets loud w the gain and volume, the overdrive fattens up the tone. Angles back so the recording bassist can use it as their monitor so I don't have to crank the studio speakers to hear a full sound.

    Replace my Fender Rumble and this was a huge upgrade. The only weakness this AMP has is weight is a little on the heavy side those handles do make it movable.

    I use it in the studio where I hardly ever move it. Takes two people to pick it up, probably wouldn't want to be moving it in and out of a vehicle. Doesn't lay on its side very well. Over all it is a good heavy bass with strong sound, adjustable tones, good connections for different uses.

    I would note I don't own this amp but I use one at rehearsals. I own and play through a Mesa Boogie Subway head and Markbass 212 cabinet, but for a gig in a smaller venue I'd be perfectly happy to play this amp. Honestly, and kind of to my chagrin, I think this amp sounds a bit better than an Ampeg 210 combo amp I also own. If you need a good, affordable combo amp, this is a very good choice.
