The AKG WMS 40 Minisystem includes an SR 40 MINI receiver, an HT 40 MINI handheld transmitter (microphone), an MKG L instrument cable, a universal power supply with US/UK/EU adapter, and one AA size dry battery.
The SR 40 Mini receiver provides three status LEDs indicating ON/OFF status, received signal strength (RF OK), and audio clipping (AF CLIP). The VOLUME control sets the level at the ¼" output jack. The supplied switched mode power supply operates on any AC voltage from 110 to 240 VAC and includes EU, UK, and US adapters.

AKG Acoustics warrants AKG products against defects in material or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, and agrees to repair or, at our option replace any defective unit without charge for either parts or labor. AKG grants a three-year warranty covering selected products (C 12 VR, C 414 B-ULS, C 414 B-TLII, C 414 B-XLS, C 414 B-XLII, C 426 B, C 451 B, C 480 B, C 391 B, C 1000 B, C 2000 S, C 3000 B, C 4000 B, C 4500 B, SolidTube) against defects in material and workmanship.
Warranty is valid for AKG products purchased and delivered within the United States for the original purchaser only. The purchaser's Bill of Sale will serve as proof of sale and warranty validity in the U.S. Shipment of defective items to AKG for repair will be at the customer's own risk and expense. AKG will assume the return shipping cost for all items repaired under warranty.
IMPORTANT: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care, the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, loss of parts, or connecting the product to any receptacle other than specified.

These mics sounds great for an MC or speeches. I have yet to have any interference issues with these mics. The only reason I didn't add a 5th star is because these mics feel a bit small and have a odd shape. The tapered off feel makes it easy to drop these mics. I have had to buy a 2nd set in approximately a year because of the handling issue. It also took some time getting used to the switch to power the mic on and turn off. It was not easy at first and is hard to reach the sliding switch.

I loved the fact that is was so easy to setup and use. Unfortunately, the wireless mics were too sensitive to minor interference that caused frequent crackling and popping sounds. It seems that cellphones seem to be the main cause of interference. I tested the system in three different closed environments (conference rooms and lecture hall) using three different amplifiers (one of which was brand new), using brand new cables and the issue was not resolved. In fact, turning the wireless mics off when not in use at the podium made the crackling and popping sounds worse. Therefore, I'm actually returning this product today.
