This product worked great right out of the box even before you read through the manual. I put it in as a plug in on the output channel, turned it on, picked a setting and the result was immediate. Volume, compression, excellent eq settings. This was a good buy and a major help with mastering. I had paid for mastering before from some really respected professionals and didn't get the results I wanted. This product kicks it big time.
While this software won't replace mastering done by Bob Ludwig and other top mavens of mastering, it's a quick way to add sparkle to your mixes. With the many presets available, you can dial-in a country rock mix, or a smooth jazz mix. Do a whole album with one preset, and all the songs will sound like they were recorded and mixed in one session, eliminating 'off-sounding' tracks that don't fit with the others on the album. I love it!!
