I am truely sad I had a real use for this. I took it out of the box followed the manual and no functions. When I contacted IKEY by there web site I had to register the unit then wite a discription of what it does (it does nothing) I get a reply today that says did you push all the buttons... of course I did and it didn't do anything this was the poorist tech support I have ever seen.. Thank God I bought this from Guitarcenter when I contacted them they said to bring it to the closest store and they would handle it ( they at least seem to care about there customers) this is the first thing over the years that I have ever returned to Guitarcenter thank you for caring about all of us that shop with you..
It has the settings for the +/- db where you can increase or decrease the peak level, that seems to be the only way to adjust the signal internaly, the dial to adjust it in smaller amounts doesn't seem to work @ all. Setting it so it's below the clipping level works after uploading the file to the computer and normalizing the gain, the quality is as good as any i/o sounfd card for the computer. I bought this for the ability to record w/o the computer and it works. Would have been great to have XLR inputs. The RCA out from my mixer works well. Buy it, 1 rack space, wav, mp3, SD & USB flash drive recordable, with a 16g hcsd card that's 10 hours of wav recording.
