This little piece of software is invaluable.
Hearing & identifying intervals clearly, sums up what playing music comes down to and this program is designed for this specific task.
I spend the majority of my time working with the melodic dictation exercises as i think im tone deaf, lol. I click on customized exercise, then melodic dictation, pick the scale i want to work with, then the intervals sizes and i have my work cut out for me.
I was satisfied with the way my order was processed. No hidden charges; no excuses and no dealy in the delivery. The reason for 4 Star: Although the CD is Version Pro5; the Box does not say so, it was a bit misleading. The Product and its performance is good. Two suggestions for future version:
1. If there is a provision to pause during the lesson it should show more clearly.
2. Option for displaying the keys even when the answer is correct would be helpful for a beginner.
Although I studied theory in college, and have plenty of frustrating memories of ear training, this program makes it easy to establish a routine and is even, fun. It sets you up to achieve success the way it increases difficulty with the tutorial. I really like that I can choose the instrument, my first choice being guitar. A definite yes on this one if you're interested in refining your chops.
