Product Information

Shallow shells for crisp, biting attack.

The Duo Fade drum shells feature all-maple construction, die-cast hoops, and powdercoated hoops and lugs that match the fade of the lacquer finish. The rack toms speak with more resonance and attack due to their shallow depths, and the snare delivers the snap needed without sacrificing bottom and overall tonality. The pack comes standard with Remo drum heads and is a spectacular value in a 6-piece shell pack.

Ddrum!!!!!!!!

after playing my old set for 7 years i decided to buy a new drumset. i looked around for a lot of sets that would fit my needs and when i saw this, it went right to the top of my list. the two mounted toms are amazing!!!! you can move them absolutely anywhere you want with the system that comes with it. the two floor toms just add to how great the set already looks and the snare can be adjusted to sound like anything you want. the all maple shells sound completely unreal!!! not only does this set sound good-- even with the drum heads on it, it looks absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!! if all of their drums are this qualitly, i will definitely be buying Ddrum the rest of my life. i ended up getting the white and black faded set and it looks great!!! best drums out there for the price!!!!

BEAUTIFUL!!! LOOKS AND SOUND!!!

I bought the Black/White set for my studio. Let's just say my drummer hates his Birch Pacific set now. :) The sound is Amazingly loud even for having a 20" Bass drum(Cannon is what we prefer to call it here). The heads are okay (Replace them and you will love the sound alot more). Gotta love Maple! Everyone who plays it falls in love with it. Surprised it's not stolen yet HAHA. Definately recommend it! It is worth every penny!

Ddrum Duo-Fade - FTW !!!!!!!

I drooled over this pic when i first saw it, and when I saw my blue/blk duo-fade in person I cried...lol Its one of a kind. Of course a change of heads and your own tuning preferences is always recommended; I tried EC2's for a first and they are great. You can't beat the 7x13 matching snare either! It doesn't take much to get that perfect tone from the set; the mapel wood does all the work for you. I was impressed with the 20x20 bass; with just stock heads and a couple sheets, it is very solid/powerful. Can't imagine what Aquarian Super-Kick Series would do with it. There's absolute freedom with this set and really compliments any playing style. Great quality thats affordable is hard to come by, and this is one set that goes above and beyond expectations.

Awesome Kit!!!!!!

This is the best drumset I have ever owned, and it is such a great price for such a great set. The toms seem a little low at first but if you just tune it a little bit it'll sound perfect.

Best investment i've made

I bought this kit earlier this year and I have never regretted it. Everything about it is amazing from the deep thick bass drum beat and the "magic" snare that i've tuned to sound exactly like OCP snares that cost about as much as the kit. The finish is beautiful, and durable i am getting cases this christmas, but i've been lugging them around and i'v found only one scratch that would only be noticable if actually looking for one. The options for mounting the toms is great either "classic with them right over top of the bass drum or off to the side, you can set this kit up to your style. Our band performs with bands that are signed and should have better equipment but i'm always the one drummer that gets all the attention about my set.

Best Kit Ever

I have been playing drums for over 30 years. I used to play Pearl drums until I went into Guitar Center and saw a displayed Duo Fade kit. I grabbed a pair of sticks and started drumming. The sound was amazing especially the snare drum. After 10 minutes I bought the set. You can't beat the price of the kit. It is well worth the money.

Awesome Kit

I got this kit about 4 months ago. In the blue/black. I put Evans blue hydrallic on top and evans black resonant on bottom. Although it looks good, I'd rather have Evans G2 coated on the batter. Anyway this kit is a beast. The kick drum ROARS! and the shallow toms really deliver. The snare can be tune to whatever you play. My set up is the two floors and the 12" tom. Lastly this is a great kit for intermediate and advanced players.

Two words... Simply Amazing!

This ddrum set is amazing, its looks are stunning and you wont be dissapointed by its sound. Also the set is perfect for giging, scince the bass drum is a virgin ( the toms dont mount on the bass drum ) set up and pack up is a breeze. Take my word for it, I use to play a Groove Percusssion ( which is a good starter, but not for shows ), and that thing was about to fall apart. Now that I have the ddrum, Im not ashamed of playing on stage anymore. To simplify everything, you will not regreat buying this set, or any ddrum, they are amazing!

Lovin it

I had been playing a Pearl set for the last 3 years and decided it was time for an upgrade that was more suited for me. I researched for about 6 months when I decided that this could be the one. I brought it home 3 months ago and have only had to not play it for two weeks (vacation and flu). The sound of these shells are amazing and they look great. The compliments don't stop when people see and hear them. I couldn't have made a better choice for the money!

just amazing

i bought these drums in the white to black fade about 7 months ago. i must say they are the best drums for the price. i put the two rack toms on a pearl stand, and they are so easy to reach to. i also put remo black suede heads on the toms, and they sound epic. i usually like my snare to be tightened all the way, for volume, and this snare does the job. especially live, the snare is a beast. dont even get me started on the bass drum, it is a cannon. put a powersonic head and tune it right, you'll be left speechless. all in all, this drum set is great, it's worth every cent, and i dont think it can be beaten for the price.
