The ddrum D2 5-Piece Drum Set provides an affordable way to get everything you need to be able to play, right out of the box. It features 9-ply mahogany shells, with power fusion toms for rich low-end and smooth mids. Comes with 22" x 18" bass drum, 10" x 8" and 12" x 9" mounted toms, a 16" x 14" floor tom, and a 5-1/2" x 14" snare. The drum set also features handmade 14" hi-hat and 17" crash/ride cymbals, telescoping bass drum spurs, and power/fusion toms, plus a throne, and a hardware package. The hardware pack consists of a chain-drive bass drum pedal, geared/locking double-braced snare, cymbal, and hi-hat stand, and a double-braced throne. To top it all off, it also includes a Pro ddrum stick bag and 6-pair of ddrum sticks.

  • Awesome set for an awesome price!!

    First of all, it comes with everything. Hardware, cymbals and drums, 6- pairs of sticks, stickbag, and a tool. They all sound great, too. The crash/ride cymbal bends up sometimes and makes it sound at a higher pitch, but you can just bend it back. I recommend this drum set to anybody that wants a pretty good set for a great price.

    I have to echo pretty much what already has been said about this kit. No instructions, but pretty self explanatory with common sense, nothing technical. We bought this kit for my 7 year old to start taking lessons. Absolutely still loves it 8 months going strong. No issues to report. Make sure you take the time to tune the drum heads. Throne is okay if you are under a 100 lbs. My wish list for this kit would be all new cymbols adding a crash and all new heads. Haven't had any issues with hardware, stick bag is a nice touch for taking to lessons. Overall I don't think you can beat this price for all that's included.

    The instructions for how to put this set together can be found on DDrum's website. On the very front page thres a picture that clearly says "How to Assemble Your D2 kit New instructional videos with Tim Yeung." But all and all this is a good beginner to intermediate set up. Talked to a few guys at Guitar Center and several of them agreed that this is perfect for anyone wanting to learn or for anyone who is wanting to get back into drumming.
