the dbx 215s is a good quality equalizers, the electronic parts used to build is good quality, knobs, sliders etc.. for sound, i would rate it a four, 6db setting is ok, but, using the 12db would be recommended. this unit is best used for studio recording, live sound, or even just home use.. unit is built good, and designed fairly well... very low distortion, quiet operation... one draw back with this unit, is a main on and off switch..."there is no switch" for the most part, i would recommend this equalizer....
