Pretty good and does the job

The dbx 215 EQ isn't a bad EQ. I put one in my guitar rack. It gives me the ability to adjust the minute details in my tone, that can vary depending on what kind of venue I'm playing in. There aren't a whole lot of features, but it does it's job well. It does have a bypass so you can hear the difference. It also has 2 channels so it, in a guitarist's perspective, can give you the option of running 2 cabs with 2 different sounds - a low, beafy bottom, and a crisp high end. I like analog EQ's better too because you can see what parameters are being changed. Some fancy all-electronic interfaces can confuse some. Good EQ all-in-all.

A great value, this is a must have for a PA system

I purchased this unit to gain more control of my bands vocal performances. The unit does an excellent job enabling us to eliminate unwanted vocal frequencies, while allowing us to be able to boost the ones we like. The unit enables us to push the volume up by cutting out unneeded frequencies enabling us to have more clear and powerful vocal performances. The unit does and excellent job and it is constructed very well, I would definitely check this unit out if you need a good EQ for your PA system.

the dbx215

is a great little EQ. as with all single space EQ's this one is hard to set up if you have meat hooks for hands, but as these will be used for monitors in a fixed installation that wont be too much of an issue. Clean sound, accurate, and good I/O options make this worth buying over cheaper nockoffs
