Zoom's G3X Guitar Effects and Amp Simulator Pedal combines the ease of a stompbox pedalboard with the power of a multi-effects processor and USB audio interface. The G3X also features a new built-in expression pedal for added tone manipulation. With complete control over both individual effects and amp modeling, you can change your tones on the fly in both stage and studio settings.
The G3X offers three large LCD displays and corresponding footswitches that form a graphical interface, allowing you to utilize up to six stompbox and amp effects simultaneously. The interface has also been simplified with three control knobs for each display. This intuitive design makes creating, saving and rearranging the effect chain of your own sounds a breeze and provides easy navigation in live and studio settings.

Good Stuff Man Get it you can't go wrong. I got the one for the bass as well (Zoom b3)
This is my first multi-effects pedal and it is a dream to operate and to listen to! The amp models are all unique and accurate. One of the things I like most is the fact that there are so many effects that actually sound different from each other and have their own characteristics. It is very easy to use and simple to edit effect parameters. It's also nice to be able to change the order of effects. It is metal so it would be very difficult to break I recommend this to anyone and everyone at any playing level.
I love to explore with my electric at home and jam along with various styles of music. The G3X catapults my abilities. It's so fun to use the Looper and build layers of sounds. I lead music at my Church with my acoustic and the G3X is now the only gear I need to do all that I want to do. So far I've used " HD reverb" as a base and when playing lively rhythm, then I stomp on the "Air" effect with a higher level when I break into finger picking. During quieter moments I've also stomped the "TapeEcho" for leads to augment the keyboardist pads. The expression pedal I used for volume including swells. In between songs the built in chromatic tuner is invaluable. All this and only had it for 3 days! Buy it!
I received this as a gift from my one of my older bros. and i love the pedals' sound. I've used a Boss GT8 pedal for a church band i was in years back and i kind of had a little trouble working the GT8 because it had so many options to set it with so after that i preferred going straight into the amp and its own sound. Then way later i reviewed a lot of youtube videos for this pedal and it interested me for its simplicity. This pedal has very awesome tones to it, specially the overdrives. I have a Marshall Guv'nor 2 pedal and the Zoom recreates it spot on. The drum track has a lot of different styles to it and the looper is really cool when you have ideas to jam to. The reviews in here from others are accurate and i can only say that i highly recommend this Zoom G3X because you can set 6 different sounds to it and play them individually. I have it plugged into a [Peavey Classic 50 4x10] tube amp and i gotta say the sound is amazing. I've always preferred having just the original sound of the amp or maybe an overdrive pedal with it because i thought these type of pedals had a very digital sound to them but this pedal changed my mind and i'm very happy with it. Hope this helps!
This thing packs a punch for a small unit. I have used just the modulation, delay and reverb effects in the loop of some of my amps and they sound great! The amp modeling is pretty darn good and responsive on some amp models going direct. I can roll the volume back on my guitar and it cleans up nicely. I have some high end pedals on one of my boards and I'm thinking of incorporating this to replace some of them. The looper is easy to use and is great for practicing. I love that it quantizes if you mess up the loop. I own many multi effect units and this thing sounds as good or better than most. I was very surprised and impressed at how good it sounds and its easy to program and tweak. Glad I snagged this.
I have had many, many pedals, and this is teh best one yet, I have had the ME-25 even and this blows it away, the sounds of the amps are spoton! and the interface cannot be beat, plus a Drum Machine! yeh Baby! I'm old school and have tube amps but hey this is awesome tube simulator! easy to make or change patches on the fly, plus as old as I am I can read he dang display! no menus that suck and are so small you cannot read them..
I really like the sounds I'm getting out of my g3x. You can tweak everything and the amp modeling is pretty good. I love the looper and the drum machine. You can't edit the drums but it's handy for practicing. All in all great unit for the price and you get sequel which I haven't used yet to record with but you can plug right into your comp. fromt he g3 so thats cool. You should check it out.
