Three Stomps. One Pedal.

Zoom’s G3X Guitar Effects and Amp Simulator Pedal combines the ease of a stompbox pedalboard with the power of a multi-effects processor and USB audio interface. The G3X also features a new built-in expression pedal for added tone manipulation. With complete control over both individual effects and amp modeling, you can change your tones on the fly in both stage and studio settings.

The G3X offers three large LCD displays and corresponding footswitches that form a graphical interface, allowing you to utilize up to six stompbox and amp effects simultaneously. The interface has also been simplified with three control knobs for each display. This intuitive design makes creating, saving and rearranging the effect chain of your own sounds a breeze and provides easy navigation in live and studio settings.

  • Surprised

As reviewed by Scott Miller on 3/5/2013

This thing packs a punch for a small unit. I have used just the modulation, delay and reverb effects in the loop of some of my amps and they sound great! The amp modeling is pretty darn good and responsive on some amp models going direct. I can roll the volume back on my guitar and it cleans up nicely. I have some high end pedals on one of my boards and I'm thinking of incorporating this to replace some of them. The looper is easy to use and is great for practicing. I love that it quantizes if you mess up the loop. I own many multi effect units and this thing sounds as good or better than most. I was very surprised and impressed at how good it sounds and its easy to program and tweak. Glad I snagged this.

I'm old school and have tube amps but hey this is awesome tube simulator! easy to make or change patches on the fly, plus as old as I am I can read he dang display! no menus that suck and are so small you cannot read them..

  • Amazing pedal...fair price!

As reviewed by ANGEL HERNANDEZ on 2/27/2014

I received this as a gift from my one of my older bros. and i love the pedals' sound. I've used a Boss GT8 pedal for a church band i was in years back and i kind of had a little trouble working the GT8 because it had so many options to set it with so after that i preferred going straight into the amp and its own sound. Then way later i reviewed a lot of youtube videos for this pedal and it interested me for its simplicity. This pedal has very awesome tones to it, specially the overdrives. I have a Marshall Guv'nor 2 pedal and the Zoom recreates it spot on. The drum track has a lot of different styles to it and the looper is really cool when you have ideas to jam to. The reviews in here from others are accurate and i can only say that i highly recommend this Zoom G3X because you can set 6 different sounds to it and play them individually. I have it plugged into a [Peavey Classic 50 4x10] tube amp and i gotta say the sound is amazing. I've always preferred having just the original sound of the amp or maybe an overdrive pedal with it because i thought these type of pedals had a very digital sound to them but this pedal changed my mind and i'm very happy with it. Hope this helps!
