Overview

This 22-in. medium heavy ride is the largest sheet cymbal available from Zildjian. The ZHT Ultimate sheet bronze cymbals are composed of 88% copper and 12% tin. Boasting a higher tin content than previous sheet bronze models, ZHTs are created with ultra-modern crafting techniques and extensive hammering, resulting in a more musical sound. ZHT is the only Zildjian sheet bronze series in a traditional finish.

The medium heavy weight of this ride allows for excellent articulation, wash, and ping as well as a strong overall presence. Its 22-in. diameter provides plenty of projection.

By Anthony

Comments about Zildjian ZHT Ride 22":

This ride is perfect for any type of playing, i love using it in any jazz music or even metal. The ride sounds great overall and the bell can be used for a great additional sound, this ride blends in well with all of my other zhts. Id recommend this to any drummer looking for a new ride at a considerable price.

Comments about Zildjian ZHT Ride 22":

This is a really great cymbal for jazz and even rock. The bell sounds very good also. The only complaint I have is that it rings too much.

Comments about Zildjian ZHT Ride 22":

I already have a 20" ZHT but the extra 2" makes quite a difference. The sounds I get out of this add so much to my whole cymbal range. Top that with Guitar Center's irresistible price and it's a no-brainer.

Comments about Zildjian ZHT Ride 22":

This is my first 22" ride and it is certainly loud and great stick definition, but as a rock drummer I was hoping for a better crash sound from it. It better for jazz/fusion/funk type music but still a great sticking ride with lots of sound and a good bell for even quieter or smaller settings. Awesome price!

Comments about Zildjian ZHT Ride 22":

I typically Purchase the A Series Zildjians. This time, I needed something to be used on a kit for a weekly open mic night. I didn't want to spend too much because of the unpredictable hits a ride may take in such a situation. AS much as I stand by Zildjian, I hate to say that I did not have any luck with the ZBT series. So, I gave the ZHT a try. Of course, I had to try it myself first at a studio practice. I am impressed with the sound and quality of the 22" ride. If I wasn't OCD, and need to have all of my cymbals match (A series), I would use this as my gigging and recording ride. I still need to buy a crash for the same kit. My choice will be the ZHT.
