Good for Beginners!

By Erik

from Spanaway, WA

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbal 4-Pack with Free 18" Crash:

This is a great cymbal pack for beginners. The crashes are good and can cut through music but I dont really like the sound of the ride cymbal. The hi hats are ok but they feel a bit heavy. Anyways if you are just starting out or you just want cheap cymbals for good quality then these are what you want.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbal 4-Pack with Free 18" Crash:

the zbt set is good for the price. the crash is a little high, the ride has a long substain and the bell sounds good(like the song yyz), the hi hats sound good closed and hit by a stick but not a good foot click.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbal 4-Pack with Free 18" Crash:

overall, i was happy with my purchase of these cymbals. the crashes have a really nice tone to them, and the ride is alright. the only thing i dont quite care for is the hi-hat, its almost feels too heavy, just not the sound im looking for. would prefer sabians, but i will be fine with these for bout a year or so.

Good Crashes but not soo good ride

By Chuck

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbal 4-Pack with Free 18" Crash:

I got this cymbal pack for christmas and i have to say i love the crash cymbals. But the hat and ride cymbals are just terrible if you play rock and metal. I do not suggest you by this cymbal pack. you are better off just buying the crash cymbals seperatly. But they are pretty nice crash cymbals

I LOVE IT MAN!! Whoooo!!

By Joe

from Portland

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbal 4-Pack with Free 18" Crash:

I got to say, when I got these for Christmas, I was thrilled. One reason is I have been wanting Zildjian cymbals for years. Also I was impressed by their tone. The crahes have a nice pshshshshsh noise to it. The ride has a nice ding noise. I like the tone you get out of it compared to my PAISTE Jazz plus ride. The hi-hats are pretty good. I don't quite care for the "chick" noise it makes. But other than that, it's awesome!! It's a great cymbal starter kit for beggining and Intermediate levels. If a little out of your budget, then try Planet Z.Either way you are gonna rock out loud with these cymbals!!! =)

Don't Buy These..

By PhantomGamer14

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbal 4-Pack with Free 18" Crash:

These cymbals are just outrigt terrible. The worst I've ever played on. I think you'd be better off using tin can lids for your cymbals than these. At least they would be more durable. I'm a heavy player so these just don't work for me. If you're a beginner and are looking for decent cymbals to start out on, I suggest the ZHT's. Though they aren't as good as A's or K's, they are at least affordable and get the job done. Plus, they are MUCH more durable.
