Sound grooves and round hammer strikes in a simple circular pattern on the top surface of ZBT cymbals magnify the basic sound of the distinctive ZBT alloy. The ZBT Hi-Hat Pair produces a sharp and focused sound with an excellent, bright "chick."

The bright, intense, high-pitched sound of the Zildjian ZBT series cymbals cuts through the mix of other instruments. Sheet origin and precision lathing techniques create high-volume projection that speaks quickly and brightly with a rapid decay. Since ZBT cymbals are pressed and lathed from sheets of uniform, high-quality bronze alloy, they are remarkably consistent. The highly polished, brilliant finish looks fresh. Superb all-purpose ride cymbal. Excellent, clean stick articulation with controlled overtones. ZBT-Plus cymbals take Zildjian Bronze Technology up a notch with advanced hammering and lathing, and enhanced sound for versatility, musicality, and professional performance.

I Bought These Cymbals, Almost New, Brought Them Home & Tried Them Out. They Sounded REALLY Low, & They Were So Heavy, They Fell Down After A Few Light Hits. These Are "Decent" Cymbals If You Like Low Sounding Cymbals, & Ones That Are Quiet Heavy, They Are Like Twice The Weight of My First Ones. I Wouldn't Recommend Them, I Will Be Returning Them Soon.

terrible....

By Tanner The Man M.W.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

Ok let me sum this up for you. Zildjian is a good company when it comes to top of the line. When it comes to entry level, These are pretty much trash. Now let mme tell you, I have played these, the B8pro, and the Paiste PST5 Hi hats (14"), and these are clearly last in comparison. The B8pro and PST 5 are both really good hats, and I myself own the PST 5 hats, and i love them, My Church has the B8 pros, I like them also. I prefer the B8pros if you like a High pitched noise, the PST5's if you like a medium-high pitch noise. Bottum line, ZBT's are bottum notch for their price, Get a paiste or sabian for this price. Now when it gets to the A customs, those are rocking, but like i said.....

AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN MOST EXPENSIVE HATS

By SNAREDOG!

from Seattle Wa.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

I use a pair to practice with & they sound awesome! We do a cover of "The Mob Rules" from "Black Sabbath" & they reproduce that realy loud subliminal phone ringing in the background sound Vinnie Appice gets on the recording! Yet still extremly sensitive I'd use these for anything! I'm realy impressed & I've been down on Zildjian for many years the company is meeting & surpassing their competition. I have a pair of Sabian B8's & a pair of Sabian AA Rock & I think the ZBT's are as good or maybe even better than both! But I question their durability as I have always with Zildjian. Sabian Is the most durable, in my opinion.

Good First Pair

By Matt

from South Bend, IN

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

If these won't be your first decent par of hi-hats, don't get them. They're good to learn on, but an experienced musician would want more. They get a warm, crisp, dry sound, and sound good with other zbt's. They are very durable though. Good pair overall.

Pretty Good

By mmmike

from Beaverton, OR

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

I own the 14 inch hi-hats and played with them in a show. They sound pretty good and have a good overall chick. These hi-hats have a high pitched tone to them and you can also get a nice open hi-hat sound. If you close them tight, they'll make a weird noise, but the hats are great for the money.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

These aren't any A customs or anything but they're still very good. They are my first zildjian hi hats and I am very impressed with them. These have a good sound along with a good price.

Freakin sweet

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

I bought the Zbt pro 4 pack a few weeks ago and these hi hats are really good, i like them way better than the b8 cymblas from sabian, and even more than the zht from zildjian which are more expensive. they have a really good sound when they are closed and slightly open but when fully opened the sound is a little harsh... (really depends on how you set your hats, i like mine pretty far apart when open) i would suggest these to anyone who just needs some cymbals but if you have the money go for somethin like A zildjians

Great sound for the price !

By Mark Theriot

from Nashville Tn

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

I would say I have never had a cheep set of high hats till now & I use these for pratice but I"am having to rethink how great sounding these cymbals are, My tech in the studio loves they way they sound so we have started useing them there & they put my (rock beats) to shame when we cut loose, they really cut through the music with little effort with a great sizzle sound, using the nylon tipped sticks with them closed really sounds great also & you can hear the tick tick very good ! I would recommend these for any drummer !

Great hi-hats

By Alex

from Durham, North Carolina

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Hi-Hat Cymbal Pair:

Well I got the 13 inch about a year ago with the ZBT starter kit. Cracked the 14 inch crash in a few months, but these have held up beautifully, which I didn't expect from ZBT's. After all this time, they've just now cracked, and I'm definitely moving onto a more high quality pair, but the sound of gotten out of these is simply phenomenal. I play a lot of different styles, anywhere from jazz to metal, and I hit these babies HARD. I don't care what anyone says, they simply cannot be beat for the price, especially if you want to get a nice defined chick sound. The only downfall I can think of, is that you probably won't get a lot of bounce off of them. Still, get these. Great for beginners, and even intermediate players. You won't regret it!
