So really quick, the best way I can describe this is trashy. I have the 14" crash and while it doesn't have a really complex sound, it does have a sound. I've implemented my ZBT as a splash due to it's bright trashy metallic sound and extremely short decay. People might knock the ZBT's but looking back on them I can honestly say that they aren't all that bad. The crash/ride I owned was a great ride ( was a little too washy for my taste as a crash). So I don't think there is anything wrong with owning one of these, they sound decent and the price is great.

      Don't Waste Your Time!!!

      By TJ

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

Not worth it. At all. If you're serious, or think you're serious about drumming, spend a little extra and get a nice A Series crash. In the end, it will end up saving you money because you'll have to replace the ZBT's every 3 months or so.

      Good Price Good Sound

      By Joshua Plaziak

      from carlsbad, california

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

I was in the store playing around with the cymbals to find a good crash. I loved the AAX set but the were to high priced for me, I then started to look at the ZBT line up and they sound pretty good for the cost, I dont like the sound of the 14" but then I started playing with the 18" and fell in love on the spot. This cymbal is not only a great deal for both beginners, but also great for more experienced players as well. This cymbal gives that great crash sound, but dosent fade out as fast. The sustain of the cymbal is perfect. and the quality is great as well. All in all, if your looking for a good filler cymbal or just want a new crash, the 18" ZBT is perfect and dosent cost an arm and a leg.

      I Love My Zildjian Crash!

      By Sophie Emerson

      from Wichita, Kansas

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

I got this cymbal about 2 years ago and I still play it. I've always thought it was an excellent cymbal. Other reviews state that it doesn't have the "right sound" or that it isn't "bright enough" but I was pleased with my purchase. I play this cymbal with my Ludwig in my band and it sounds great. The price is just the cherry on top.

      Good Price

      By Charles Farmer

      from Houston, Tx

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

Got it on sale, needed to add a 14 crash but was on a budget. Normally would spend a little more for something better but have had it for a 2 months and played out about 8 times. So far it sounds great for the money and seems to be fairly durable. If it lasts a year I'd say well worth it or if your beginning and want something better than the cheapie stuuf they sell with entry kits it's perfect.

      its good for starters

      By Brandon Loera

      from fresno, ca

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

i bought this cymbal when i first started drumming and is still a good cymbal now but i start realizing that this cymbal doesnt have that real crash sound into it, its more of a crash/ride cymbal to me but overall the cymbal is really good for that jazzy kind of sound.

      from el paso

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

this cymbal was better than i thought.but if your a heavy hard hitter i would not recommend this cymbal because this cymbal has been known to crack easily.but other than that its a brigt sounding cymbal with a nice shinny finish.
