So really quick, the best way I can describe this is trashy. I have the 14" crash and while it doesn't have a really complex sound, it does have a sound. I've implemented my ZBT as a splash due to it's bright trashy metallic sound and extremely short decay. People might knock the ZBT's but looking back on them I can honestly say that they aren't all that bad. The crash/ride I owned was a great ride ( was a little too washy for my taste as a crash). So I don't think there is anything wrong with owning one of these, they sound decent and the price is great.

Amazing Deal!!!

By Drummer22

from Lake Zurich, IL

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

I am an intermediate drummer who was looking for a nice crash for a good deal and I definitly found it. The quality of this cymbal rivals that of those found hundreds of dollars more expensive. It has not cracked or bent and I am very happy with the purchase. You will not be dissapointed.

Good Crash but....

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

If you play hard/metal music you will love this cymbal for it has a darker thrashy sound and the bell isnt to bad either....however this cymbal did not impress me at all at first because of its darker sound but grew to liking it, maybe because of change in harder music...deffinetly is a good cymbal for a begginer

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

It is a really good cymbal. I've played Sabian B8 Pro, and honestly, I feel like this is a good cymbal for my style. It's trashy, but not too much, andd the decay of the sound is short the sound isn't choked with the other cymbals. It is a goo option for those who can't get a top-of-th-line cymbal, but want a good sound for their money' worth.

Good deal

By John

from Charleston, SC

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

This ZBT crash creates a very sharp crash sound. It is very loud. This probably comes most from its thickness. It is very shiny when it is new. It must be beaten somewhat hard to make a good sound, but its sound is very loud.

ok, but could be better

By Mattholomew

from Ri

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

a few years ago, i bought a set of these, that came with 13' hats, a 14' crash, 16' crash, and an 18' crash. at first i thought they were all pretty decent, not amazing, but not bad. the 2 larger crashes broke very quickly, which was a big dissapointment, as well as a waste of money. i still use the other two, but they really don't sound too great. the 14'crash is not too good sounding, and the hats, though durable, don't sound very good either. overall, if you are looking for a cheap set of cymbals immediately, then these get the job done. but if you are a serious player such as myself, who wants sound and durablility, you could do better.the zbt ride does sound pretty decent, since ive tried it at school in the past, but thats about it. i purchased a paiste pst 5 crash, and it has a great sound, and takes a beating. ive had it for a little over a year and it still looks new. i plan to buy another one eventually. save your money and buy something a little better if you can afford to wait and spend the extra cash.

Good Starter Cymbal

By Jack

from Atlanta, GA

Comments about Zildjian ZBT Crash Cymbal:

I got this cymbal for my birthday two years ago. Back then i wasn't as active as i am now so i thought the cymbal was good. Although as my drumming progressed on, i found the cymbal starting to just sound like noise instead of having a tone to it. Good starter cymbal
