When I play a thrash song, like "Battery", it fits in great as an accent, but it does not work very well as a ride. Like it is implied in the title, it isn't versatile whatsoever.

Wuhan

By Colton Gehman

from Hot Springs, Sd

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

Get Wuhan chinas instead. Zildjians may be better in the top of the line cymbals, but if your looking for a really trashy and inexpensive china, go with Wuhan.

By ELIJAH CARMER

from Southport IN

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

This china really packs a punch. If you are looking for metal or just even rock accents, this cymbal is it. It sounds also sounds great as mallet rolls for marching band music.

Very Disapointed

By Tyler Oldenhoff

from Wisconsin Dells WI

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

Zildjian ZBT cymbals sound like you are banding on the tops of trash cans. i disapprove zildjian for my drum set, sabians, or meinl are alot better and they give you a wider sound range and don't ring for 10 minutes after u hit them like ZBTs do.

Not what I hoped

By Kyle

from Arkansas

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I got this chine just the other day and I put it on my set and hit it one time and was ready to take it back. I expected good things from this cbsl because I have a zbt set already and it's like it didn't even fit in with the crashes. So word of advice it can be that bad but it is cheap and flooded with overtones. So just wait and save the money and get maybe an A custom or a paiste rude china.

You Get What You Pay For

By FIRSTFALLEN((shanebeverage)

from Boston. MA

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

So, once i really started getting into the style of music i play now. I decide i need a china, but was on a tight budget. Trusting in the "Zildjian" name. i Bought this china. It had a great trashy, dark yet bright sound i needed for "breakdowns". But i would not suggest this china. It lasted me all about 3 months. The thing is aboslutley scrap metal now. Not a TERRIBLE china but. I would suggest not buying this cymbal. If you can afford it, then i HIGHLY recommend the "zildjian oriental china trash" cymbal (18")

Everything but the sound was perfect.

By Astonomicat

from Frisco, Texas

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I love this cymbal, I just wish it was slightly more trashy with a little bit less ring to it. I'm starting to get use to the sound though. Everything else about it is great. The shape is helpful when compared to the wuhan because the curve it uses allows the player to hit it in just about any spot and get the same sound out of it. Since the bell is wider I can actually mount it on my stand without the cymbal hitting the screw thing on my stand. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the few problems I have with the sound, but overall it's great, especially for the price.

not bad...

By morgan

from phoenix, az

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

For what it's worth this china doesn't sound bad. I have the 18" and it's gotten me through several gigs but it is way to high in pitch and just doesn't sound that good. I would really recommend getting a Wuhan china, for they are much better for a lower price, a Zildjian Oriental Trash, which is what I currently use and I love it, or a Sabian AAX china, which is also very trashy, if you can afford it

Rides like a Champ

By Alex

from warwick, RI

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

i got the 18" the other day and it sounds amazing. the crash is *meh* pretty good, nothing very special but i love the sound of it when it is played as a ride with triplet double bass. i have it inverted on a boom stand tilted toward me just because i use it as a ride so much more than a crash. i would recommend a K china for a better crashing sound but you definitely want this on your kit.
