China

By Mark pinhancos

from Massachusetts

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I got this in a package when I was first starting out, Now alot of people don't like Zbt that much, but this china doesn't sound much different than the other Zildjain chinas. I've taken a liking to it actually. Its just not as trashy as a china should be... A decent china over all though...

Not very good

By mmmike

from Beaverton, OR

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

ZBT's china cymbal gives a way too high-pitched "pang". There's almost no way to incorporate it into the types of songs that I play. It's too loud and it'll ruin any song you're playing to. I wouldn't recommend this to any rock drummer.

ZBT CHINA CYMBAL

By ebraz96

from Renton, WA

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

The zbt china I was not thrilled with when I purchased it even though I did manage to incorporate the sound into some songs. It has a very trashy type sound. I upgraded to a zht china which I found to have a more melodic sound to it.

Everything but the sound was perfect.

By Astonomicat

from Frisco, Texas

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I love this cymbal, I just wish it was slightly more trashy with a little bit less ring to it. I'm starting to get use to the sound though. Everything else about it is great. The shape is helpful when compared to the wuhan because the curve it uses allows the player to hit it in just about any spot and get the same sound out of it. Since the bell is wider I can actually mount it on my stand without the cymbal hitting the screw thing on my stand. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the few problems I have with the sound, but overall it's great, especially for the price.

Not the typical China sound...

By SeeJay

from Shakopee, Minnesota

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I got this china about 3 days ago. I was super excited to get it out of the box and just start jamming on it, but I was utterly disappointed. With a china you expect a nice "Wshh Wshh" sound, but this sounds like a annoying "Pang" sound. I would not recommend this. Just get a classic Wuhan because they actually sound like a china, and plus, they're way cheaper too =).

Rides like a Champ

By Alex

from warwick, RI

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

i got the 18" the other day and it sounds amazing. the crash is *meh* pretty good, nothing very special but i love the sound of it when it is played as a ride with triplet double bass. i have it inverted on a boom stand tilted toward me just because i use it as a ride so much more than a crash. i would recommend a K china for a better crashing sound but you definitely want this on your kit.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

This is the best china for the price. I tried the wuhan china and it was way too trashy but this one is perfecto.

Good loud and clean sound!

By MetalHead2012

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

This is such a nice china, nice and loud. This cymbal cuts through anything. I got this cymbal from my friend with just a couple nicks but in almost perfect condition. Get it it's worth it for being a low end Zildjian china.

Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal

By moose59

from Broomall, Pa

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

First off let me say that is a great china. It is amazing when you incorperate it in playing rock. Espcially when it is incorperated in metal. The only down part is that is is a lot loud. When hit even relativly hard, it over powers some of the quieter cymbals, like a splash for intance. Other than that it is a great china.

I love this cymbal!

By DrummerN8

from San Antonio, Texas

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

This cymbal is amazing it brings so much colour to your kit. It is very trashy and can be used for almost every style of music. Its the loudest cymbal on my kit. I've heard many good things about the ZBT's so i thought i check them out and i must say that i plan on buying plenty more ZBT's in the future.

ZBT China

By BrAnFaRt

from Bristol, PA

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I purchased the ZBT china with a ZBT Splash the splash was awful, but i put up the china and was empressed, its a good china and has a really nice trashy tone, but if you want really good quality get a better one, its a good buy all in all tho if you're a begginner.

Cool China

By Big T

from Big Texas Baby !!!

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

The 18 ZBT China sounds great, it is a beginner series, yet affordable. I bought a used one and lasted quite some time even with the dents on it from the previous owner. I just replaced it with the 16 in. oriental china from zildjian and it does not sound as dark as my zbt, I miss it but I will be getting an other one once again, new!

Very Disapointed

By Tyler Oldenhoff

from Wisconsin Dells WI

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

Zildjian ZBT cymbals sound like you are banding on the tops of trash cans. i disapprove zildjian for my drum set, sabians, or meinl are alot better and they give you a wider sound range and don't ring for 10 minutes after u hit them like ZBTs do.

By ELIJAH CARMER

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

This china really packs a punch. If you are looking for metal or just even rock accents, this cymbal is it. It sounds also sounds great as mallet rolls for marching band music.

Eh, not worth it

By Jake Kelley

from Corona, Ca

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I had this china cymbal, not even 2 months yet, and it already has a 1" crack on it, i dont recomend getting this cymbal, unless your rich, but, it is a great sounding china, but it is not durable, i recomend wuhan, or sabian.

Terrible China

By Pete

from Denver Colorado

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

ZBT's are the bottom of the barrel Zilgian's. If you are a beginner they are great way to start playing a cymbal made by the best in the business. However, this has to be by far the worst China on the market. It sounds nothing like a China should sound with an immediate decay on the initial crash. If you want a trashy china at a cheap price I would recommend Wuhan!

not bad...

By morgan

from phoenix, az

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

For what it's worth this china doesn't sound bad. I have the 18" and it's gotten me through several gigs but it is way to high in pitch and just doesn't sound that good. I would really recommend getting a Wuhan china, for they are much better for a lower price, a Zildjian Oriental Trash, which is what I currently use and I love it, or a Sabian AAX china, which is also very trashy, if you can afford it
