I was looking for a nice beginner-intermediate set with a hi-hat, ride, and preferably two crashes, and this was the perfect find. Although they are just the entry level cymbals, they still produce great sound. I have not tried the "Pro" ZBTs as opposed to these "Rock" ZBTs but I'm sure they are pretty similar. If they were anymore expensive than what they are now, however, I would have to give it 4 stars because of a few problems, but it is still a decent set. The hi-hits are a bit off when open and still don't have perfect sound when closed but it still sounds okay. The crashes are great in my opinion. And the ride rings forever but still produces a great pingy sound. The last problem was that they never sent me the cymbal bag that is supposed to come with it. It might just be an isolated incident, but I was still kind of bummed. But all in all this is a great beginner-intermediate set and was almost exactly what I wanted (because of the bag problem).

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

I got these in the mail today and these cymbals are AMAZING! These are a huge upgrade from the starter cymbals that came with my set. All in all 4 great cymbals for a great price. Don't listen to anyone who says you don't get the free 18" Crash with the pack because YOU DO! YES FREE 18" CRASH!

ZBT

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

Umm..okay. Well these were major beginner cymbals. If your new to drumming and don't like the cymbal that came with your little kit..these are perfect for you. If your someone looking to be in a band and play shows with these...i dont recommend these cymbals. I got these because they were cheap. These have a long ring and just not a great overall sound to them. Try the AAX cymbals if your looking to play shows.

Not Bad

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

If you're new to drums and bought a cheap set with cheaper cymbals on it, this is the right cymbal package for you. but if you're an experienced drummer and are looking for great-sounding, long-lasting cymbals, I'm afraid you're out of luck with this package.

FANTASTIC!!!!

By Miles

from Orlando, Florida

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

This set is amazing! the free 18" crash comes in the box and is not a rebate! both crashes sound amazing. both of them have a very diverse range of sound. the only downside to that is that sometimes you have to be careful where you hit. but once you get the groove of the cymbals, it comes natural. the ride is great! it has a large bell without you having to pay for a mega-bell ride. the hi-hats have a definate "shink" sound to them. they sound crisp when hi open and are wonderfully hollow when closed. you must however be a bit carefully with the hi hat when using the pedal. if you get careless with the ankle movement when using the pedal, you get some unwanted , extra noise. this is actualy good because if you are using this as a begginer set, teaches you to control the pedal correctly.

Short Lasting Cymbals

By Alex

from Pennsylvania

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

These cymbals are beginner at most and no better than a Sabian B8 set. They are very nice cymbals for someone beginning to drum but lose sound very easily. I've had them for 4 years and they are now starting to go higher-pitched and not a nice sound at all. If you like a trashier sound with ur crashes, buy these cymbals. The ride is terrible quality. Hi-hat is actually very nice, the best out of all 4

All Bark, No Bite

By Chris S.

from Laguna Niguel, CA

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

This package is decent. I must say, though, that these cymbals are absolutely GORGEOUS. I basically bought a whole set: this pack and the splash/china add-on. These are a beginner set for sure. The splash and 16" crash were my favorites, they sound pretty good, a little ring though. The hi-hats were disappointing, they sound like plastic. The 18" has a TON of ring, but overall good sound. The ride was nice, some ring. The worst is the china by far, it's extremely loud and obnoxious. If you are looking for a cheap, decent set, look here. Otherwise, try Pitch Black or Ks.

cha-ching $$$

By O.S. Chops

from Flint, Mi.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

This pack is a homerun for any rocker or metal head. These cymbals really project in every way from the chikaching of the hats to the roof rattling crash of the 16 and freebee 18. The 20in rock ride has a shimmering effect that has a good susstain, I had a set of the Sabian B8's and the zbt pro's and this pack is what you want if rock and metal is your poison, trust me these will rock your roof off..
