great beginner set

By lindsay

from nj

these are decent cymbals. I recomend them to beginners and intermetiate. This cymbals are bright the only problem it the ride has alot of overtone but moon gel or duck tape will do the job.with good care this can last about 3 years these are overall good cymbals.

Not Too Good

By Dak

from leavittsburg, ohio

These cymbals are good if your a beginner. The ride is alright, the 18 inch crash lost most tone over 4/5 months, the 16 inch crash cracked in 4 months (and im not a basher and i sometimes use multi rods) i have a 10 inch splash and its dented from the drumsticks, and the hats are alright. I suggest you save your money, and this "deal" rips you off. i bought the ZBT pro 4 pack which included the hats, both crashes, and a ride, then i bought a splash

I bought these cymbals in july and the 18 inch and 16 inch crashes are both cracked. However I played drum set in marching band and i used them outside and during the season they got snowed and rained on and were subjected to freezing temperatures. They probably came very brittle and cracked because of that. I'm currently saving to get the Z3 crash pack. I recommend these cymbals to beginner and intermidiate drummers who are tight on money as I was when I purchased these.

Beginners Pack.

By Canyon McColm

from West Hills, California

These cymbals are great for beginners and intermediate drummers. If you are looking for cymbals that do not cost much as well, I recommend these. I have had these cymbals for over a year and 4 months and still have not cracked. The ride is a little too tingy, as well as the crashes, and the hihat is alright. As I said these cymbals are great for beginners, but if you are a advanced drummer, go get yourself some zildjian k's.

I bought these cymbals back in October 2012, and they lasted me pretty well, the 18" Crash sucked, but the 16" Crash and the Hats were pretty good. I would use a Sabian B8 18" Crash/Ride as the 18" crash and i would flip the Zildjian one upside down and use it as a China. But I joined a band in January, and we're playing a bunch of shows now and I am embarresed to go on stage with ZBT cymbals. The 16" Crash, my favorite of all of them just cracked and we have a show on March 7th. I want to buy the A Classic Pack, and just buy like a Wuhan China or something. But anyway, If you are just starting out, these are good. I probably should have bought the A Classic pack, but, I didn't know i was going to be in a band. So what I'm saying is Carefully consider the situation you are in as a drummer. Ask youself, "Am I ready to join a band?" If you are don't buy it. But if you are just starting out or are in your basement or garage just by your self, then its a good start. I would recomend buying Sound Percussion Boom Stand Double Packs, for a beginer drummer, plus this.
