Zildjian has done it again!!!

By Kevin Bradley

from Prospect Park, Pennsylvania

I can honestly say that this is one of the greatest cymbal packs you can get. The best thing is that it is great for people on a budget. The 20" has a nice bell which i love. The 16" just blows my mind. The 18" is loud which i love. But the best part of it has to be the hi-hats. If you have played a normal drum set with cheap, inexpensive hi-hats, you will be in love with the sound of your new hi-hats. This pack sounds like no other cymbals. THE BEST!!!

Greg on cymbals

By Greg

from Nashville

I played this cymbal pack for about three months when I was filling for a band on drums and they suplied the equipment. I was very sceptical at first but I ended up liking them a lot and I plan on buying them today.

Great value, great sound.

By D. Durham

from Bend, OR

These replaced 4 cymbals (different brand) that I hated the sound of. Much happier with the ZBTs. Don't let the price fool you. They sound fantastic. High hats are crisp, crash cymbals are higher pitch with a quick fade, and the ride is a medium sounding cymbal with a fairly decent bell. It's a shame that the factory and retailers label it an introductory cymbal. Been playing 30+ years and love the sound of these.

Player or Pretender?

By S. Jennings

from Springfield, Mo.

We all want the best equipment as musicians, but money is the deciding factor for most of us. Zildjian doesn't make bad cymbals, some are just better than others- just like musicians. When we put are ego aside and realize that while these may not be K series, they still have a great tone that can serve any drummer out there! So while your saving money for those top of the line cymbals these will do the job in the mean time and they might just surprise you as well. My only complaint is if you use the bell on the ride a lot, it seems to have a dense tone, but then again for everything you get with this pack plus the price, you cant go wrong!!

Great for the money

By Matthew

from Hazleton, PA

They sound pretty sweet. Obviously they are not the best since it is the cheapest pack, but this pack gets a 5 Star rating because you get one more cymbal, (the 18" crash) than the other brands like meinl and sabian and plus it's good for the money. You get what you pay for.

Really Nice for Beginners and Beyond

By Johnny

from Fort Wayne, IN

These cymbals are great! they are my first real set of cymbals. i had agazarians before which sounded like trash can lids. the zbts are toatlly different! the crash is a lot heavier and has a great tone to cut though my friends jackson guitar and fender amp and his sg and line 6. you can always hear them. at first i heard the ride was ok. i played it the first tme and said what! its amazing! the ring is perfect just long enough to bring the awesomeness. the hi hats are the best too. the sound they make played open or closed is just perfect for me. these are great cymbals at a cheap price. way better than b8's. the 18 inch crash is loud! but its nice too i like the 16 better. overall amazing!

Love Them

By ben

from oly,wa

I got these cymbals to replace my old horrid cymbals. i love them, they sound great (especially the 18" and the hi-hat)the crashes sound crisp and they decay pretty quick. i usually dislike rides but this one is starting to change my mind. the bell on the ride is impressive and the hi-hat is superb. the only problem i had was that when i bought the cymbals i was a stand short of being able to set them all up so i just had the 16" laying on the ground for a couple of days

GREAT CYMBALS!!!

By John P

from New York, New York

As soon as you open the box you can tell the awesome they are. They are beautiful. The 20 in sounds just right yet it is not to heavy that a cheap boom stand can't hold it. I love them! One thing is hard hitters should stay clear b ut for us normal people these are the best!

Zildjian ZBT

By Tri Nguyen

from Spring, Texas

The Zildjian ZBT pack is definitely worth the money. My only complaint and reason for not giving it a 5 star rating is the hi-hat cymbals. The sound is not to my liking but I think with some adjustments and time I'll like it. It's a great buy if you prefer longer ringing cymbals as they do that, plus you get a lot for what you pay for. Not as good as the ZHT, in my personal opinion, but still good.

Great Starter Cymbals!

By Luke

from Daphne, AL

I bought this cymbal pack to go with my new ddrum Diablo Punx 5-piece set and the sounded great. They were my first cymbals. The ride has a nice "ping" to it and the bell is beast too. The 16" crash has a fast decay and the 18" is very loud but still musical. The hi-hats are okay but they work. My crashes lasted about 2 years before cracking but they might have lasted longer if I had taken care of them better. Overal, a must have for the aspiring drummer!

Great!

By July

from High Point, North Carolina

Today, I had bought this cymbal pack along with a double pedal. The cymbals sound great! The ride's bell sounds awesome. The 16 and 18 crashes are also good. The hats sound good but they could be better.

Ok Cymbals

By Nate T

from Philadelphia, PA

I bought these cymbals as just a starter set try not to smend to much money but to get good and reliable cymbals. At first when i got them i wasnt very happy. They were a little tinny (as you would expect from a Zildjain lower end sheet line). But as i played them they and broke them in they started to sound preety good. But my recomidation is to spend more money and get the ZXT or ZHT lines(or even the A costoms) because you will really like them in the long run.

good cymbals

By jesse

from pawtucket, rhode island

not the best cymbals from zildjian, but still a great starter pack. the 16" crash is my favorite of the pack and it sounds amazing. personaly i dont care much for the ride wich has a really light sound and is really ringy.also the hihats dont have much range and sound best when played slightly open. other tan that, these cymbals are great.

Good Cymbals for a Great Price, Great for Kids

By Matt Greene

from Alabama

I got these as my first ever cymbal pack, past the stock cymbals that came with my drums. That was over 2 years ago, 2 years of no clue how to take care of them and hitting them way too hard. I recently joined a band and moved them into the practice space, a garage with no temp control, and left them in freezing weather, and one of them finally got a crack. These things are nearly indestructible, and sound great to boot.

For beginners

By Christian Smith

from Zionsville, Indiana

These cymbals would work if you're a beginner and just starting out. For anyone else, they aren't. Compared to good cymbals, they sound cheap and are not very good. For anyone that is serious about drumming I would not buy these.

AWESOME cymbals!

By Nick

from Fremont,California

I bought the regular ZBT's that weren't pro and the 16" broke within a few months and the 18" (came free with the pack) broke within like 10 months maybe and the hi-hats broke just like 2 weeks ago. I got the actual pack around a year ago and still have the 18" but it sounds like a china. The ride lasts the longest and I would get the pack again. I recommend these to anyone who's looking for cymbals.
