Dark and complex. Reminiscent of cymbals from the '50s and '60s yet distinctly modern and relevant for today's music.

The cymbal I received is wonderful, but each of these are going to be unique and you must try them before hand. They are beautiful.

    Great cymbal

Comments about Zildjian Kerope Ride Cymbal:

Best ride I've ever had in all my years of playing, including a 24 inch Zildjian in the late 60's. Better than many Contantinoples I've tried out, which had a too-prevalent wash. Complex sound yet great "ping" tone for jazz with a lighter touch. I've gone all in for Kerope (22 in. ride, 19 in. crash, 14 in. hats) and couldn't be happier.

    Over-priced and Under-quality

Comments about Zildjian Kerope Ride Cymbal:

This has got to be the 2nd worse cymbal series zildjian has ever produced, 1st being the Pitch Black's. The entire line sounds too dark and dull for any musical taste, other than jazz, but there are much better cymbals like these out there, Meinl Byzance, Sabian HH, or Paiste Signature's, for much less money that sound way better. Save yourself $100+ and buy something better.

    Great Jazz Ride

Comments about Zildjian Kerope Ride Cymbal:

I happen to hear Peter Erskine playing the 22? Kerope cymbal on a DW info-video and thought ?Man, I?ve got to get that cymbal!? Gigged with it for the first time last night and it?s the exact sound I?ve been long searching for. It has a great washy 60?s tone with a distinctive ping. Thanks Zildjian and thank you Guitar Center for the great deal!
