Comments about Zildjian K Ride Cymbal:

Bought the 20" at GC Killeen. This is best all around ride I've ever played. It just fits everything i play from Gospel Country to Rock. Not to light or heavy. Just Right!!! You can crash on it and it has a great bell too.

Comments about Zildjian K Ride Cymbal:

I've been playing 30+ years and I love this ride. Have a great 70s Zildjian ride/crash but it washes out and loses definition on stick work. This ride has incredible definition and a great sound that doesn't get away from you. Nice stick response and a clear sounding bell. While not a crash, when you do get on it as a crash it has beautiful gong like undertones. Make sure you bring your other cymbals when auditioning this ride as there is some tonal variation. My local GC had two, one of which sounded great on its own but was slightly dissonant with my cymbals. The other was a perfect match and has opened up my playing, with a lot of long strings of punctuated pings. A great ride.

The most versatile, wonderful ride ever.

        By GARRISON TURNER

        from Goose Creek, SC

Comments about Zildjian K Ride Cymbal:

I can't describe how wonderfully easy to play this ride is. It is the definition of versatility. After hunting for years for the perfect ride cymbal, I have finally found my sound, and it's the K ride. Why? It is warm, pleasant, easy to listen to, easy to play, but at the same time well defined, sharp, sweet, and just the right amount of wash under it. You can lay into it and it won't wash out, but won't feel like an anvil either. It's just ... PERFECT. You will never lose stick definition, but can crash in louder settings. And don't let the picture fool you, the bell is BEAUTIFUL! It is sharp and well defined, but musical, and not at all obnoxious. This ride records like a dream, and is incredibly MUSICAL! It can be played in just about any kind of musical situation. Do yourself a favor and at least go TRY ONE OUT at your local guitar center. This thing's a winner!

        the pefect ride

        By Ethan

        from Indianapolis, IN

Comments about Zildjian K Ride Cymbal:

This ride sounded great in the store but even better played with my kit! I previously had a 20" k custom dark ride which has a beautiful tone but washes out when played heavy. This ride has excellent stick definition providing a sweet clear ping and low, dark overtones which stay at a low to moderate volume. Can be played heavy without worry of running away from you. Its medium weight allows for good stick rebound too. Versatile- could be used for jazz, blues, rock, metal and in close or large settings. In my opinion, this is what a ride should sound like.

        awesome

        By greenday75

        from San Francisco

Comments about Zildjian K Ride Cymbal:

Incredible! The Zildjian K ride cymbal is cymbal is amazing! It hardly has any overtones and a perfect ping with a very faint sizzly wash. It lives up to the reason we have ride cymbals. If you want to crash it you can and it produces a loud sizzly washy sound that makes your ears yearn for the sound to be played again. Buy one today and you will love this cymbal forever!
