I use these gloves exclusively! Been playing drums 40+ years and while I may not be playing speed metal, I rock the drums! Gloves hold up nicely way, way longer than you might think.

In addition to using these gloves, I use Zildjian Dip Sticks (rubber coated on the butt 1/2 of the stick). End result: I never, ever loose a stick while playing, and my grip is sooooo much less tight, that my hands NEVER get fatigued.

Long story short: well worth the price!!

The design is flawed on the glove itself. The extra leather on the forefinger is sewn on and the threads wear quickly. The extra leather laps over and makes it completely uncomfortable to hold stick. The leather then deteriorates quickly and holes wear in them (which defeats the purpose of having the glove). If you play light rock this is the glove for you - not designed for heavy, hard rock.

      Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

Great gloves! They definitely save your hands and help with grip. The only thing, it would be nice if they made the fingertips touchscreen compatible. I mix my own monitors with a tablet and I can't do it with these on.

                Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

These zildjan gloves work well and are very comfortable. They dont last as long as the Ahead gloves or have wrist support. However, they provide a good feel for the stick and the mesh back cools well. They do run small though. I use XL size and have average drummer hands.

Have not tried these out yet but need something to protect a finger that has become immobile due to excessive use. Fit is good and they might work well. I question how durable they are though.

Smooth surface and thin soft leather transfers the feel of sticks directly to my fingers.
                      Perfect in very humid atomosphere.

                      Worst Gloves on the Market!

                      By Tanner

                      from San Diego, CA

                      Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

First, Zildjian once again changed the design of their drumming gloves, so the gloves pictured above are NOT the ones you recieve unless they are an old pair. The old design left a black residue behind on your hands that is hard to wash off, and the new ones not only have the same problem, but they moved the right hand protective patches so they no longer line up with my thumb, which means I still get blisters playing. As others have noted, they also do not grip as much as other gloves on the market in the same price range. In fact, I would recommand buying the Ahead drumming gloves or even a pair of Easton batting gloves as they last about 3x longer and have better grip and comfort than these Zildjian gloves. I have contacted Zildjian about the residue issue and they basically told me to pound sand.

                      Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

They say in the description that these prevent blisters, but if anything I get worse blisters wearing these. I play technical/prog metal and even using the Zildjian dip sticks (which I love btw)they still have terrible grip. They're way too thin to prevent blisters and they tear apart easily.

They might be cool if you play light rock or something, but if you're playing that you probably don't really need gloves anyway.

                      Decent Gloves

                      By Austin

                      from Vicksburg, MI

                      Comments about Zildjian Drummers' Gloves:

These gloves are decent for protecting your index fingers and your thumbs, that's it. I was expecting more of a grip to them (for gripping the drum sticks) but I was disappointing to find there was no grips to them. I put on the gloves and played 3 songs off of Metallica's Black Album, and after the third song I could feel my right middle finger start to burn. I took the gloves off and found a blister the size of pea about halfway up my middle finger. After putting a band-aid on the blister, I played the next song and I felt the same thing on my left hand's middle finger, I took the glove off and found the same thing. That's why I say they are good for protecting your index finger and your thumb only. I would recommend these gloves if your not much of a hard drummer (metal), or have tape on your drumsticks of you are a hard drummer.
