If your unsure of what to buy and want to buy a professional set of hi hats these are the ones......The #1 all purpose Hi Hats of all time..........I have a pair of 13" that are awesome, and with time they even got better. I also get a lot of complements on the sound of them from other drummers. Peace to all drummers of the world! Amen.........
Whoa these hi-hats sound incredible! They have the perfect "sizzling the hats" open sound. And the closed "chick" it perfect. And the price is totally more than worth it as well. These are a serious upgrade from by old hats and wow its so good.
I went down to my local GC to compare different hi-hats to replace my A Custom reg hi-hats (just wanted a better sound). I'm pretty particular about the way my cymbals interact with each other, and the new beats definitely add to that synergy. They have that crisp chick while providing a great dynamic during both open and closed riding. I setup the A Custom Mastersounds, the A Custom Rezo and the A New Beats side by side, and the New Beats blew the others away. I guess there is a great reason why these are an industry standard.
Ive had these for a month or two now and ive never looked back since. they have a nice and articulate sound wether open or closed and are verry durable. only thing I did not like was how easy it was to get fingerprint smudges on it. for the money a must buy!
I have been playing for 20+ years now and have not had the opportunity lay down the money for great cymbals. My wife finally went out of her way and bought me these as an early Father's Day gift and they are everything I have always wanted. Great stick sounds and phenominal sizzle and the chick when just playing with your feet is crystal. If one word is to used to describe these, to me it would be "clarity". Pricey, but like the old saying goes; you get what you paid for.
I have had my New Beats for a little over 2 years now and have loved them ever since. Although they are heavier than I would care for, they do have a balanced sound. These will work for anything from jazz combos to rock. They have a nice strong chick sound that will always be heard unlike some hi-hats I've seen. The only hi-hats more versatile than these would be the new Armand versions which are just lighter in weight. New Beats have gotten heavier over the years but always work well.
I've had for about a month, and these are awesome. These sound awesome, project great, and are just unbelievable. It's is really worth the extra money. If you want good hi-hats, get these RIGHT NOW!
I have owned these Hi hats for about 4 months now and wow they are amazing. They are the best hi hats I've ever seen or used in my entire life. The sound of them, the quaility, the name so worth it. It is quite expensive but for the sound, quality, duarability, the Zildjian name its a steal. I have the 14 inch Zildjian A Series New Beat Hi-Hat Pair and although they did caost me a bit I love these things and I will keep using the same kind until the day I die. So save up some money for these and grab a pair... you can't get any better than Zildjians.
Ziljian New Beat Hats are by far one of the best in any situation. I have to admit that I am a Ziljian Fan, maybe there is a reason why... I have played a lot of cymbals and Ziljian is always the cymbals that I end up playing when I want to find what I'm looking for. New beat Hi Hats has what every drummer wants to hear when you lift and close the hat or to a nice tight closed hat. If you want to hit a fine hat, Hit Ziljian New Beat Hats.
I've owned these for around three years, and even after trying out many others much more expensive, I always come back to these. They have a great balanced sound, that people have mentioned works for just about any type of music. A little on the expensive side, but definetly worth it.
