Taylor's Artist Series Model drumsticks are similar to a 5B but feature a large, round tip for full tones and great projection. With a length of 16-5/8" and a diameter of .600" in natural hickory wood, the Hawkins drumstick is well-balanced and versatile making it excellent for rock music. Taylor's stick also carries his signature as well as his distinctive tattoo Hawk artwork for a truly unique appearance.

Hawkins grew up in Laguna Beach, CA. He came to prominence during a long road stint with multi-Platinum singer Alanis Morissette. Taylor toured with Alanis during 1995 and 1996 in support of her hugely successful record, "Jagged Little Pill," before joining drummer/guitarist Dave Grohl's rocking Foo Fighters in 1997 as the band's live drummer. In 1999, Taylor joined the Foo Fighters for their Grammy Award-winning album "There is Nothing Left to Lose" and their 2006 world tour supporting their platinum double album.

Tough sticks with great response

Comments about Zildjian 4 Pair Taylor Hawkins Drumsticks:

Zildjian sticks are, from my experience, generally long lasting and quality compared to not just the store brand cheapies, but to other high grade competitors. I tried their Mike Mangini sticks and they were too heavy, so I switched to the Taylor Hawkins. With a round wood bead on the end, it lasts longer than a nylon tip (especially for heavy handed drumming), and has good response for rolls and rudiments. Overall this is a deall, as you are saving a couple of dollars by buying the bunch. Shell out the cash for sticks that will take a beating for a while and still sound good.
