Zildjian ZBT 4-Piece Starter Set (444544)
Availability:

A full complement of quality cymbals at a friendly price. A great all-purpose ride!

Sound grooves and round hammer strikes in a simple circular pattern on the top surface of the cymbals in the Zildjian ZBT 4-Piece Starter Set magnify the basic sound of the distinctive ZBT alloy. Includes 14" crash, 18" crash ride, and a pair of 13" hi-hats. ZBT Series hi-hats produce a sharp and focused sound with an excellent, bright chick sound. The ZBT crash is a splendidly fast crash with a bright high-pitched tone. The ZBT crash ride produces a cutting ride sound with good crash qualities.

The bright, intense, high-pitched sound of the ZBT series cymbals cuts through the mix of other instruments. The sheet origin and lathing techniques create high-volume projection that speaks quickly and brightly when struck and decays rapidly. Since ZBT cymbals are pressed and lathed from sheets of uniform, high-quality bronze alloy, they are remarkably consistent. The highly polished, brilliant finish looks fresh. Superb all-purpose ride cymbal. Excellent, clean stick articulation with controlled overtones. ZBT-Plus cymbals take Zildjian Bronze Technology up a notch with advanced hammering and lathing, and enhanced sound for versatility, musicality, and professional performance.

  • A Good Introduction to Different Cymbals

As reviewed by Zach on 5/23/2011

I received these cymbals with my Pearl Soundcheck drum set. I did enjoy them very much, playing mostly hard rock and some alternative. The 14" crash is great. The 13" hi-hats are pretty nice. And the 18" crash-ride is decent. After almost six months of heavy playing, the 14" crash received a small crack. But I do love the finish on the cymbals, they are very beautiful. - 14" Crash: Very good cymbal for fast beats and quick hits. 8/10 - 13" Hi-Hats: Nice sound when closed, but not the best for fast clapping. 7/10 - 18 Crash-Ride: Good cymbal for both crashing and tapping, but the bell is quite poor. 6/10

  • Save Your Money

As reviewed by Dakota D on 1/23/2011

I got a ZBT pack in September 2010, and by November/December 2010 each cymbal had somewhat of a dent. Nothing major but still. And the finish came off also. They are good cymbals if drumming is a hobby but if your serious about it, and you wanna record or play shows, i suggest you save your money and try to get something a step up

  • Good Beginner Set

As reviewed by Zak Beatty on 10/1/2010

I got this pack when i first started playing about a year ago, and it's been through alot. I started playing shows for two bands about two months ago, and I play really hard. The crash just cracked on me last week, so I think it's time for A customs. It didn't last long, but for the price, I think I got my money's worth
