  • Awesome Crash, very durable

As reviewed by JonTheDrummer on 6/29/2010

This is a great crash. It is very lould and hold up well. I have used it for many months and no cracks, dents, or keyholing. The bell sounds great as well. I have the 16" and look foward to buying the 17 as well. I got it with the Z3 rock ride and they compliment eachother very well. If you play heavy music this is a great cymbal, great for death metal and hard rock. The only downside is a ring after the hit but it is impossible to hear when playing a beat (even a slow one). I highly recomend this cymbal as well the the Z3 Rock ride. And the whole Z3 series has a brilliant finish so they shine really bright!

  • Amazing

As reviewed by Matt on 7/6/2010

I bought the 17" rock crash to provide a heavier sounding option then my A custom crashes and i was more then pleased with it. It is deffinately a great option for heavy metal or rock, the cymbal itself is more dense and heavier then a customs and is also louder, it has held up great with my heavy hitting, i'd highly recomend this crash and i look foward to getting more from the Z3 series
