These sticks are very durable, and if you are constantly playing, like me, you must have these sticks! The rubber grip is very comfortable. My sticks are 2 years old and are still playing great. I would recomend these sticks to anyone that likes to play fast beats. These sticks are light and the indent makes for a great grip. They have great roles and give the ride cymbal a nice sound.

I have gone through 4 pair of these and love them. I just ordered six more pair. I wish they had a nylon tip model but otherwise I love them. They prevent slippage and have a beautiful balance and feel and sound fine on the snare and cymbals. I used thin bandage tape until my skin got thicker.

I have had these sticks for over two years. I really like them. These sticks are really good for any kinda genre. I mostly play rock and they are fine for me. They do roll real nice and sound great on the ride. Hope this was helpful.

Bought these sticks 2 weeks ago for the new band season at my high school. Balance and response is great but if playing louder dynamics or very fast rythms for a long time, they leave blisters on your forefingers. all in all, good sticks. mainly should be used for jazz and not ROCK asthe name would let you believe.

Blisters? newbie? or perhaps holding sticks all wrong. I would reccomend that before ANYONE listens to or takes the advice to concider the facts before posting negetive remarks. these sticks are "ok" if You like to shuffle or roll Your snare, the balance is great as is the stick response You get from Your drums as well as the cymbals, however please note the "cutaway" near the middle of the stick as that is mainly where You shall be gripping it, I reccomend lowereing Your grip on these particular sticks so as Your thumb is resting at or 1/16th" BELOW the "rim". as they CAN cause discomfort while playing if held in the normal fashion. IF You expierence ANY discomfort while using these I suggest a time out and try to figure a different way of holding them. not too tightly ( as that can lead to blisters) also I would reccomend the use of a pair of Zildjian drum gloves to a beginer so as NOT to have discomfort. all in all these sticks are great for blues, jazz and country ( anything with a light snare roll/shuffle), as for metal, punk, grunge ( anything requiring heavy hitting) I would not reccomend these.
