These sticks are alright, not the best, not the worst. I got these sticks as my very first pair a long time ago. My 7A Nylon tips lasted a few months before breaking. I don't hit very hard and I didn't use these sticks that freqently. If I used these sticks heavily every day, then I'm pretty sure they would break pretty fast. I'd advise you to go for a pair of sticks from a stick company, not a cymbal company.

I hear so much bashing of Zildjian drumsticks, it drives me crazy. Fact is, I have been using these in a 7a for about 2 years, and I havent experienced any major problems with them. Yes, they will break eventually, but in general they have been very good to me. I have heard that their nylon tips are sub-par, in which case I havent had one pop off yet. They also provide me with amazing feel. I prefer their finish versus others (ie, Vic Firth, Vater). Give these sticks a try, you might be surprised.

I've been using Zildjian 6A sticks for years, and love them! As with all sticks, they will break, but they feel perfect. I went to a smaller stick years ago to help me stop breaking so many cymbals. 5A was too much wood, 7A broke too fast. The 6A has been great. It's not the most popular size, so I have to get them off the internet as music stores around here don't stock them anymore, but I feel they are worth the extra effort.

these sticks are amazing but the problems are the weight and the paint. The weight is a little to heavy for me, and its a little harder to hit your toms because you have to use more power. The other problem was the paint job, its a cool color but the paint stains your cymbals, so i suggest you buy a cymbal cleaner. Other than that its a pretty awesome stick

I have a pair of 5B wood tip sticks and HAD a pair of 5A wood tip sticks. The 5B I have had for about a year, mainly because I only practice with them on my practice pad doing rudiments. My 5A's lasted me about 4 days. I played with them twice, my cousin used them the third time and they broke on him within seconds of playing. They have a great feel and grip to em but the quality in my opinion is low. I would suggest ahead sticks, for wood promarks or vaters are the best.
