  • Best cymbal in my setup

As reviewed by Alex T on 12/22/2010

I listened to tens of incredible splashes before I committed to buying one, and this one (11") came out on top. It's my favorite cymbal in my kit, and has a perfect sound for a variety of things. I really like how you can get two different tones out of the polished and unpolished parts of the cymbal, as they're both great, and compliment just about any style of music. If you are only going to buy one effects cymbal, this is the best one out there, hands down.

  • Own them both, and will never sell them!

As reviewed by Phillip Wenzel on 8/8/2009

I got both the 9" and 11" and love them both! I use a mix between A Custom's, A's, and K's and the Hybrid splash's mix well with them all. They cut through well, but sound like real cymbals unlike most splashs that sound too bright or are nothing but crash... they actually have sustain and presence. They are a little pricey in comparison to other splashs but they are definitly worth the money!

  • musical soft splash

As reviewed by mike m. on 12/22/2009

I have the 11" version. This is a great splash, beautiful musical tone, with a nice sustain. It has a very soft attack. This cymbal is very quiet compared to other splashes and perfect for when you want a soft splash. I love using it on the 1 going into a verse, or to put accents during a verse without covering up the song with a bigger crash. It is a little bit too quiet to compete with bigger crashes and loud drums during a drum break or a fill. If you like to play dynamically you will love this splash.
