  • Priceless protection for your valuable brass!

As reviewed by Jeffrey Horton on 6/27/2009

Years ago I used two of these Safes while playing professionally in a club band. Different club every week, 52 weeks a year for 4 years. The Safes never wore out, never broke down, and always protected my brass. Recently, I bought one again, HOPING that they hadn't gotten cheap and cruddy. I'm happy to say that my hopes were affirmed and this is the same great quality product I used years ago. ANY drummer that EVER needs to move cymbals should have one (or two) of these. Just think... one crack in one good quality cymbal and you're out $300+. You can get two of these for less than half that and they'll last forever.

  • Holds 22" ride but doesn't close or stand

As reviewed by Joe on 1/16/2010

I got this case because I was on a budget. I have a 22" Paiste Signature Power Ride that I wanted to protect. The ride fit fine but when I tried to close the case, only one side fit, pushing the other side of my ride down as I tightened it. IT DOESN'T CLOSE ALL THE WAY. Also, the case doesn't stand. You can set it down softly and it'll stay up but the slightest gust will make it come crashing down. I carried a ride, 3 crashes, 2 hi hats, and 2 splashes. I never kept it standing because I was too nervous. I always had to store it laying down. If you don't mind leaving it laying on the floor and more importantly, IF YOU DON'T OWN 22" CYMBALS, it's a great case. Just make sure you buy a thick felt washer to put under the securing screw so that your cymbals won't slide back and forth the rod causing keyholing.

  • Great Investment

As reviewed by Mike T on 4/4/2011

A lot of drummers have just as money tied up in cymbals at they do drums. This is a great way to transport your precious cymbals, and the stacking system in the case is a no-brainer. I can fit a total of 5 cymbals plus a set of high hats, and never had a problem with fit, or the case standing up. I don't have a 22" cymbal, and not sure if it would be a problem like other reviews, but it works super for what I have!!
