The Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash Cymbal was developed in response to requests for the heavier, louder volume needed in rock settings. The Zildjian Sound Lab created the Projection series cymbals with the assistance of Vinnie Colaiuta. Zildjian A Custom cymbals are made using radical rotary hammering techniques, thin weights, and a striking, brilliant finish.
Avedis Zildjian Company Warranty Statement
As of October 1, 2009, all Zildjian Cymbals are guaranteed against manufacturer's defects for two (2) years from the date of original purchase.

Warranty Process
Cymbals that show factory defects within two years of their original purchase are eligible for examination at our factory. Zildjian experts will evaluate the damage and issue a replacement cymbal, unless it appears the damage is related to improper use or care.
If you believe your cymbal has a factory defect:
1. Contact Zildjian to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#), via telephone: 781-871-2200.
2. Indicate the location of the damage on the cymbal with a piece of tape.
3. Make a photocopy of your original numbered and dated sales receipt.
4. Carefully package your cymbal. Include your RA# and the photocopy of your sales receipt in the box.
5. Ship the package to:

A Cymbal will not be replaced if:
1. It has been misplayed, dropped, played with excessive force or treated abusively.
2. The center hole is worn due to improper stand set-up or abusive play.
3. The cymbal was bought second-hand or used in a lease program.
4. The cymbal has previously been replaced by Zildjian.
5. More than two years have passed since the cymbal was purchased.
Warranty Notes:
• Cost of shipping a damaged cymbal to Zildjian is the customers responsibility.
• Factory evaluations take approximately 4 - 6 weeks.
• Cymbals that do not meet the warranty guidelines will be returned to customer.
• Cost of shipping a replacement or damaged cymbal back to the customer will be covered by Zildjian.

I bought this baby today & i love it. It's got an awesome sounds & since it's a Projection Crash it's louder & it holds longer than the regular A Custom. This or any Zildjian Cymbal i highly recommend, it's a must buy for all drummers out there... Zildjian's A Customs are the Best in the World.
I can't tell you how many diff cymbal brands I have had and diff model's. Nothing compares to Zildjian Cymbals...I started out with there ZXT line and now have upgraded to their A Custom Crash's ...Started out with the thin line...bad idea if you play rock or hit hard don't get them you will break them....I need replacements so I tried out the Projection Crashes and I must say they are amazing....they are loud and really cut through the music...there high pitched cymbals and I love them...I play with a 17inch and an 18in and they are perfect. Very Bright intial sound and then decay really fast. Plus they are shiny which are nice..not one complaint about them...BUY THESE
When I was creating my new cymbal setup, I was basing it around the Z Custom 18" Medium crash. I needed something with a deeper pitch that would sound good crash-riding. The A Custom 18" Projection Crash was EXACTLY what I wanted. It's the perfect counterpart to my Z Custom: deeper and throatier, but bright and cutting at the same time, matching the Z Custom's volume output well. When struck at the same time, the two cymbals sound like one blended mass of sound wave ecstasy. Even by itself, the A Custom 18" Projection Crash does very well. And, as another review mentioned, this is the best cymbal ever for swells, PERIOD. I highly recommend it!
