These Hats are pretty sweet if you ask me. I've owned these for about 4 years now and they sound better every day. They have No cracks, No key-holes, No dents or dings either, and I've hit them hard at times. Stick response is great. You dont have to hit hard to get that nice A-Custom sound you payed for. The bottom hat has that unique wavy tortilla edge as I like to call it. This allows for the air within the hat to escape very easily and very fast. The "chick" and "stick chick" sounds are one of a kind. I love playing these hats slightly seperated so I get that beautiful washy sound out of them. Keep 'em loose.

  • THE Best.

As reviewed by Aaron Murray on 4/27/2010

I've had these cymbals (15") for about a year and a half now and I've got to say that they are everything I've wanted in hi-hats and more. I got these cymbals because i love the way that they sound when Abe Cunningham from Deftones pounds away at them, or even the beautiful "chicks" they make when they are closed. These cymbals are very musical and expressive, open and closed. They will give your setup a very unique sound that will catch the ear immediately. I tested out the 14" because i heard that they were the "standard in today's music" but ultimately favored the sounds of the 15". all sizes and versions of these hi-hats are worth every penny!
