  • Perfect Cymbal For Recording

As reviewed by Coldfront777 on 10/19/2006

This is one of the crispest, warmest cymbals around. It has a fast attack with a very fast decay. It is also relatively quite for being a 16" crash cymbal. All of these traits make it perfect for recording. Be warned though; this cymbal's weight is classified as PT (paper thin). This mean's if you are a hard hitter, its going to crack after a year or so. As a rule of thumb, buy the warranty if you play any type of rock music, which after all, is what this cymbal is designed for.

  • Incredible crash!!!

As reviewed by Berith on 4/13/2010

These are truly exceptional crashes! I've been playing for close to 10 years now and I've never owned or played on crashes quite as nice as these. I use an 18" for my main crash, and a 17" and 16" for other crashes; all A custom fast crashes. The craftsmanship is unmatched, the sound is smooth, yet full and brightly colorful, and the decay is perfect. In my opinion, these are the best crashes on the market. Better even than the K custom from Zildjian. If you're looking for quality, playability, and perfect tone from a crash, these are the crashes for you!

  • Awesome crash!

As reviewed by Rick on 12/8/2008

I purchased an 18" A Custom Fast Crash on a recommendation. Best recommendation one could give! It is by far one of the best, if not THE best, I have ever owned or played. The sustain is really sweet. Plus, it compliments my 17" A Custom Crash beautifully. You won't be disappointed if you buy this cymbal!
