Ok So these are amazing, doont second guess this high hat, i recommend it to anyone i had the 14 inch bu i went smaller because well i liked he 13 inch but to say it didnt change my opinion on the high hat, it sounds great, the foot "chick" sounds great, I play a wide spread of different music and these high hats do me well, if your reading this i say you pick up this high hat, its pretty cheap and sounds good hands down, it is a great addition to my kit and it would be a great one for yours.
I had used the A series 13 inch Mastersound hats for years. then I sold my drums and went on a long break. well im back now and was shoping arround for a kit. when it came to Hi Hats I wanted to go 13 mastersound again because I play a viriaty of music and need a sound that is very clean when needed but can be sloshy when needed. in other words I need a lot of control. there was a pair of these along side of a pair of A series and for sweetnes of sound, clarity, control, and overal tonal quality I had to go with these. I had a friend play them beside the A series and without looking I chose the 13 inch ZHT mastersounds. they are not expensive but they are high quality where it counts. I even get really clear and sizzly sound out of them at low volumes better than I did with the A series. Hope this helps. you cant go wrong with these.
This hi hat is great because it sounds exspensive but it's easy on the wallet. My friend has it and it makes his drumset sound better than mine and it's a pearl export his is a pulse. This hi hat is great and would recomend it.
