AC power cord prevents current clipping and protects against RF and EMI.
The Panamax Pinnacle high-performance AC power cord is designed to minimize noise contamination. The cord is made with 12 gauge, processed stranded-copper line, neutral and ground wires to insure no "current clipping" and all the power a system component needs at all times. Current conductors are individually jacketed and twisted to eliminate noise transmission and then wrapped in a high frequency noise shield. A stranded drain wire is added to carry EMI and RFI back to the wall ground and away from the system components. A final rubber jacket protects the power supply cords and insures no post-manufacture displacement of shielding or twist architecture.
