Bad sound, bad hardware

By Max

Comments about Yamaha MS-6213 Power-Lite Snare Drum:

This drum is all around horrible. I don't think I can say it in any other way. My school marching band bought a few of them to test them out and it was a waste of money. First, the sound is terrible, and no amount of tuning or replacing parts can fix it. Our 20 year old snare drums sound much better than these. Second, the hardware is garbage. Nuts and bolts and lugs and the feet come loose and fall off so easily. In fact, during a practice routine, 2 lugs and 1 foot fell off, and combined with the others that had already fallen off, you get a drum thats trash. Please, take my word for it... don't waste your money on this drum!!
