First let me say I just gotten the guitar yesterday. I taken it out of the box, dusted it off and let it settle a bit. Last night I pushed this guitar to see what it could do. This guitar loves to be strummed and sounds extremely well. Then I went after it flat picking Dueling Banjo's and Wild wood flower. The guitar sounded amazing and kept up with me. I really love this guitar and cannot feel any better with my choice in buying this guitar. The guitar is easy to play and has a pretty fast neck. The sound for the price range was outstanding and the construction and quality is very good. A nice looking guitar. I own several Taylor Guitars and bought this one to be a travel and park guitar. After last night this guitar will also be a practice guitar as well. Now for me I love the sound of Mahogany and Sapele dreads so this guitar for it's sound was for me from the start. If you love more the sound of Rosewood then go with the Yamaha FG730. This is an excellent beginner guitar as well as a good guitar for intermediate and advanced to travcel and play with. Highly reccomend the Yamaha FG720 to all to buy and play
I actually didn't buy this guitar, a friend of mine just gave it to me. So I searched far and wide until I found this page. The good news, it's a beautiful sounding guitar. The better news? It's cheap price, and well worth it. I tune it (at the moment) to C sharp, not dropped, and it holds the tuning as well as sounding phenomenal. I have owned this guitar for a year, and there's nothing wrong with it, at all. The only complaint I could possibly make, as for many other acoustics, is the reach of frets, especially higher ones, but you'll get over it. I have been playing guitar for 6 years and I would recommend this acoustic to anyone who desires an acoustic on a budget, but with practicality in mind.
I just bought this guitar over the internet, and when I got it in the mail I thought it was beautiful. It definitely has a quality sound. The strings it comes with however might need to be replaced. But other than that I recommend this guitar.
Well I've been playing guitar for about a year and a half now. I own an electric and I decided it was time for an acoustic. When I went to check out the guitars I saw this one and I was like wow. I sat down to play it, and the sound quality was amazing. I did not know that a great sound can be made with just a piece of wood. I strongly recommend buying this guitar.
I was looking for a new acoustic at my local guitar shop when I saw this FG720S Hangjng on the wall. The tortoise pick guard caught my eyes at first, so I decided to give it a try. WOWWW . . . I literally fell in love with the sound. The projection was fabulous, the lows were warm and the highs were cristal clear and the mids . . .Just as you would expect. The guitar was a real delight to play. I just played it for 5 minutes when I realised it had been 2 hours. This is guitar is really a good deal. I recommend it.
