The Yamaha F335 is my third guitar. I was looking for an inexpensive acoustic guitar to replace my broken one. After trying so many guitars, this was definitely the one. It plays just as well as a Taylor, for less than half the price! I have the sunburst one... the color is beautiful, the sound is beautiful, and it's very comfortable. This guitar is great for everyone... if you're looking for your first or replacement guitar, this is the one!

The yamaha fg335 has greatbtone for such a cheap acoustic. When it came it was well packed. A couple of things I noticed was blemishes in the finish and noticing the paint on the guitar looks cheap.the intonation was fine but the truss rod was a little tight. That's why I gave it 3 stars. But I love the rest. The guitar has great sound. And it love the gold tuners. It seems to stay in tune well and it has great tone. That's all you need. Overall it's a great value and seems very durable even after a few hits .

Great Beginner-Intermediate guitar.

By Layne

from Ohio

This is an amazing beginner guitar, or a cheap intermediate guitar. This is obviously not a Martin or a Taylor, but it plays great, and has a great sound. Stays in tune, especially since I play outside a lot. This doesn't sound near as good as my 30 year old Alvarez, but it suits me for just casual playing around friends and family. The guitar comes in three finishes, and my cousin got one with me, I got tobacco sunburst, and he got natural, they both are very beautiful.

Here's a good guitar at a value price

By James Brennan

from Indianapolis, IN

I bought this guitar from GC about a month ago, and I am very impressed with it. This is my first guitar, I am retired now and enjoying the whole process of learning to play. This Yamaha just sounds great, even in the hands of one like myself. The friends who have joined me on their own guitars both say this Yamaha sounds as clear and true as one costing much more, and I think one will soon buy an F335 for himself, as he just can't keep his hands off mine. All in all, this is a rich looking guitar and finished professionally. I am delighted I chose this guitar over the more conveniently available noname brand from China I saw and strummed at Wallyworld. I have also purchased the Musician's Gear Deluxe Dreadnought hard case for it, and purchased as well the acoustic guitar accessory set, all of which I found to be of excellent quality at a value price. Highly recommended.

So far so good!

By Becky Griffin

We have only had for about 3 weeks. My daughter was delighted and still is. We are not professional musicians, but the sound quality seems great. I would say this is an excellent beginner guitar or guitar for the novice player.

Superb Guitar

By Deelip Sahu

from Frankfort, Kentucky

I did a lot of research before buying this. This guitar really worth the price, great sound quality, great build, beautiful looking. No need to tune it for lot of times, it keeps the tune. Best ever for a a beginner and best for a master. Very loud sound. Stunned by the quality & sound of the guitar, very nicely packed & arrived very fast. Watch out for the big price drop in Memorial day & some Holiday. Now love playing this one daily. I am in love with this guitar.

This is a great first acoustic guitar. Nicely build, great tone. I can't believe it's this cheap.

GREAT for the money!

By Aaron Pile

This guitar plays great and sounds sweet- WAY better than any other guitar in it's price range. No electronics, but would make a fantastic beach or camping guitar.

I did a lot of research and read all the reviews and found them to be very helpful. I ordered the Yamaha F335 in black. It arrived less than a week later and it is beautiful!! very sharp!! I'm giving it as a gift and although I don't play (yet) people that do said it sounded awesome! So Happy with this purchase!

Great guitar for any player.

By mike Bianco

from MA

Went to my local Guitar Center about a week ago, I was looking to buy an acoustic, but not break the bank. I tired out a few guitars in the same price range as the F335, and I will say, none of them had the feel and tone that this guitar has, I couldn't believe the price tag! The neck has a nice worn feel, which is great because I'm not a fan of the standard lacquer finish on most guitar necks, that being said it makes for a smooth feel, with great action right out of the box. This is an incredible value. Yamaha truly knows what they're doing here. Buy this guitar.
