Extremely Satisfied

By Lawrence L Dick

from Maricopa, AZ

The first time I used this I mixed a band with 3 guitars, a keyboard and 4 mics. Powered output to a pair of Definitive Technology tower speakers, Aux 1 through another amp to stage monitors. Adjusted equalizers, compression and reverb. Achieved beautiful sound for a dance. Had many compliments on the quality of the sound.

Awesome mixer for the price!

By Jimmy

from Grand Blanc, MI

I've owned my Yamaha EMX5014C mixer now for 18 months. It is without a doubt, the nicest powered mixer that I have ever used. The effects are good, the power is clean and it sounds fantastic through my Yamaha BR15's. I use a Yamaha P2500 to power 2 BR12M monitors and for larger gigs, I use a Yamaha P7000 to power 2 SW118 subs! Whenever we need to mic drums, I use a Yamaha MG102 mixer to pre-mix the drums, so I never run out of inputs! I LOVE this mixer! You simply can't go wrong with Yamaha!

Budgert Jammer

This mixer is awesome if you have budget constraints. I'm using it in conjunction with yamaha S115V speakers and I have Indiana Live Casino rocking. The eq. is brilliant, the compressors really work and even at 90% volume the sound is distortion free. My violin and back up tracks really sparkle with this system. Don't even bother looking anywhere else for this quality at this price.

Good mixer for the price

By AnHman2004

from Dallas, Texas

I was first very skeptical about this mixer, but after the first few months, I was thrilled to talk about it. Although it doesn't match up to the standards of Allen and Heath or Soundcraft, or some of Yamaha's top of the line models, its still really great. Great for light use. Has room for 2 axillary monitors, but you might want a power amp for more sound. Easy to read lettering. Decent EQ (although it could be better) I wish that there would have been a second effects line as the other variation of the Yamaha powered mixer. All in all a great mixer

Love the mixer. My only disappointment (totally my fault) was that I assumed since it was an active mixer (500 Watts per channel) that it had outputs to floor monitors, and that they would be active as well....BUT..not so. You will need to either get some nice ear monitors to hook up to AUX out, or get an add-on amp to supply power to your existing floor monitors, or you can just buy some active floor monitors. (remember that active floor monitors have to be plugged in to AC... so theres an extra connection.) Anyhow, I love my mixer, and I got some P.E.M.s to go with it.... so all is well.
