Yamaha is Simply the Best

By Thomas Taylor

from Knoxville TN

This is my second Yamaha Digital Piano. I came from the P-250, which is amazing to the CP-300. Sound and feel they are to close to tell apart, but my P-250 had some miles on it and there are a few little features that are really useful added to the CP-300. In my opinion, these are simply the best pianos around. I came from a Roland to Yamaha and I really don't see me ever going back. The feel, the touch, the sound....unbeatable.

Unmatched Performance!

By Keith McKenzie

from Dade City Florida

Through the years I have owned both the Yamaha P200, P250 and the P300. Speaking from the perspective of a professional pianist, there is simply no other digital stage piano at any price that can compete with the P300.I make a living playing the piano, and I demand a board that will cut through the mix when I need it, and the CP delivers. My genre is Traditional Country, Christian Country, Gospel (not contemporary!) The CP is at home in any situation you place it. There is one thing you must take into consideration. This piano alone weighs 90 pounds! Include the SKB case you are looking at 35 more!

Amazing Keyboard

By Bob

from Melrose, MA

I am truly amazed at the quality of sound from this piano. Not only is the sound so realistic but the action is incredible too. If you are looking for a serious stage piano then this is the one piano you must buy. The electric pianos are great and you can tweak and customize the all the sounds. I did not realize how many great effects come with the CP300. There are way more sounds then I'll ever need. The professional outputs are great and I recently hooked mine up to an audio system in stero using XLRs - - - one word = WOW! The thing is a beast to carry so you will need a good case with wheels, but that is a minor downside.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

By Billy Jones

from Smithfield, North Carolina

I absolutely love the sound and the playability of this stage piano!!! It is everything and more than I expected. I need to add that the sales people (guitar center on Capital Blvd in Raleigh, NC) were very helpful and patient as I carefully considered other brands.

Very good stage piano!

By cdpromusic

from Phoenix,Arizona

I tried a lot of keyboards ( I play piano for over 20 years)and in each keyboard I have been looking for a natural sound.the very best sound of piano i found in Yamaha P250.We have it in our church and i love it.When i wanted to buy one for myself I saw that it was discontinued so I bought the new CP 300 .It has some more capabillities then P250 but the sounds are almost the same. The piano and electric piano are the best but I can't say the same about the rest of sounds.Anyway i need it just for live music and for piano sound so for me this is the best keyboard.I hope that it is durable too.
