The Yamaha CGX171FC Flamenco Acoustic-Electric Guitar has a warm, strongly projecting sound to meet the needs of modern flamenco guitarists. A cutaway is added for enhanced high-position access, and the slightly shallower body and lower string height mean effortless handling and playability.
The Yamaha guitar's combination of B-Band under-saddle pickup and internal condenser mic guarantees excellent clarity and a natural-sounding, concert-like powered performance, and the mic is mounted on an adjustable gooseneck for optimum positioning. The preamp's responsive high and low tone bands are supported by a unique mic mix control that blends the signal either in or out of phase, so the sound of your Yamaha
CGX171SFC guitar will always be rich and feedback resistant.

Comments about Yamaha CGX171SFC Flamenco Acoustic Electric Guitar:
Yamaha does a very good job in quality control. The guitar is what it is and what you see, as well as, what you pay for it is what you get. This guitar is not the best guitar that I have ever played but it certainly does the job right. I believe that the amplifier you end up selecting will have just as much to do with how well the guitar sounds. I purchased the Roland AC60. The combination is clearly the best deal you can get, unless you are willing to spend a little bit more. In that case try one of those new Rodriguez' or Ramirez' Electric guitars they have in stock. Overall I am not all that impressed, but it works well.......
